Bunyip22, 14 Mar 2016Good story but i have a Note 4 (which beats the GN5 battery life) so i'm not sure why you keep... moreLOL. GN3 can reach over 20 hours if I just use wifi with some 60%, with 4.5 hours SOT.
Chennaite, 14 Mar 2016Dude... u try stretching ur phone to tht extent.. who needs to bluff..I can't and have never been able to get 24 hours on either Note 5's. That's with "regular" use. When I say regular use I'm talking standard phone calls and Web browsing.
Tcool, 14 Mar 2016Except Note 3 which last only 6 hours of battery use.Good story but i have a Note 4 (which beats the GN5 battery life) so i'm not sure why you keep talking to me about the GN3???
PS the GN3 battery life is fine, if anyone cant get through a day of moderate use it is because the battery is approaching 3 years old and is degraded.
Tcool, 14 Mar 2016Funny but LG already have 4000mAh battery in their midrange phones with less than 5.7" screen ... more.....and the Gionee Marathon M5 has a 6020 mAh battery with a 5.5" screen.... i'm not sure what any of that has to do with how much Samsung will increase the GN5 battery by?
Currently its 3000 mAh on the GN5. History and the S7 indicates it will be around 3500 mAh on the GN6.... hopefully it is closer to 4000 mAh.
SAMSUNG, the SD card is back.... now give the GN6 truly premium battery life of 100 hours + on the GSMarena test.
Tcool, 14 Mar 2016Just like the non-removable battery, they keep it with S7/S7 Edge because not too many people ... moreOr maybe it has something to do with looks? LG obviously think that a lot of people want removable batteries still.
absolut-allen, 13 Mar 2016Just curious why you'd get a phone that has an octa-core processor with 4GB RAM for "light use?" Don't worry, sooner I will get an LG G5 dual SIM for heavy use.
Bunyip22, 13 Mar 20165 hours screen on with 30 percent battery left is nothing special and not as good as the GN4. ... moreThis guy is bluffing all the way. Was fully charged about 8 hours ago (64%), haven't watched any videos since or made any calls - pure Internet surfing.
Just going on 1.5 hours SOT.

Bunyip22, 13 Mar 20165 hours screen on with 30 percent battery left is nothing special and not as good as the GN4. ... moreExcept Note 3, no matter how moderate you use it, it will not reach 24 hours of battery power even combined with its extra battery.
Bunyip22, 13 Mar 2016I did answer the question.... They keep fast charging because most people want it.... I use ... moreJust like the non-removable battery, they keep it with S7/S7 Edge because not too many people want removable battery.
End of story.
Chennaite, 13 Mar 2016My current stats.
I hav used 21 hrs of my phone.
Started at 99 percent.. now stands at 30 pe... more5 hours screen on with 30 percent battery left is nothing special and not as good as the GN4. LG would struggle but most high end phones can comfortably do 24 hours with moderate use.
I'm hoping the GN6 gets a 20-30% battery size bump (3500-4000)
Tcool, 13 Mar 2016You didn't answer the question: Why Samsung still keep the fast charging with S7/S7 Edge? An... moreI did answer the question.... They keep fast charging because most people want it.... I use fast charging, I was just making the point that it degrades battery life. Do some googling if you don't believe me.
PARAG B, 13 Mar 2016Since I have The Moto 360 2nd gen (46mm 1.56" screen dial & with 400 mah battery ) It alre... moreit's not a big issue for me as the last time I used this feature was in Nokia N9! For sure it drains the battery faster but I liked it!
Equinox Hydroid, 13 Mar 2016All what i like in the S7 is the always on displaySince I have The Moto 360 2nd gen (46mm 1.56" screen dial & with 400 mah battery ) It already has the Always on feature i don't really miss that on my Note5
plus even if people who all do not have a smartwatch with always on feature for them as well there are lots of 3rd party apps which supports the always on info like time and other usefull notifications while charging (over wire or wireless) & There are also apps which provide full black background for Amoled screens so one can combine that with a always on notifications & alsways screen on apps and there you have a always on amoled screen with minimum battery draw.
However there is negative point of the always on feature it does not allow the smartphone to go to deep sleep in standby mode if you know what i mean .
this is the reason S7 has a little less battery endurence even after having a marginally very bigger battery than s6.
Note5 which is 5.7" screen still gives more endurance with the similer 3000mah battery in s7 cause Note5 can go into deep sleep mode in standby. & This is irrespective to the special chip for always on feature in S7
Tcool, 13 Mar 2016LG G5 also.I know but I hate LG phones :S
