Chennaite, 13 Mar 2016My current stats.
I hav used 21 hrs of my phone.
Started at 99 percent.. now stands at 30 pe... more5 hours screen on with 30 percent battery left is nothing special and not as good as the GN4. LG would struggle but most high end phones can comfortably do 24 hours with moderate use.
I'm hoping the GN6 gets a 20-30% battery size bump (3500-4000)
Tcool, 13 Mar 2016You didn't answer the question: Why Samsung still keep the fast charging with S7/S7 Edge? An... moreI did answer the question.... They keep fast charging because most people want it.... I use fast charging, I was just making the point that it degrades battery life. Do some googling if you don't believe me.
PARAG B, 13 Mar 2016Since I have The Moto 360 2nd gen (46mm 1.56" screen dial & with 400 mah battery ) It alre... moreit's not a big issue for me as the last time I used this feature was in Nokia N9! For sure it drains the battery faster but I liked it!
Equinox Hydroid, 13 Mar 2016All what i like in the S7 is the always on displaySince I have The Moto 360 2nd gen (46mm 1.56" screen dial & with 400 mah battery ) It already has the Always on feature i don't really miss that on my Note5
plus even if people who all do not have a smartwatch with always on feature for them as well there are lots of 3rd party apps which supports the always on info like time and other usefull notifications while charging (over wire or wireless) & There are also apps which provide full black background for Amoled screens so one can combine that with a always on notifications & alsways screen on apps and there you have a always on amoled screen with minimum battery draw.
However there is negative point of the always on feature it does not allow the smartphone to go to deep sleep in standby mode if you know what i mean .
this is the reason S7 has a little less battery endurence even after having a marginally very bigger battery than s6.
Note5 which is 5.7" screen still gives more endurance with the similer 3000mah battery in s7 cause Note5 can go into deep sleep mode in standby. & This is irrespective to the special chip for always on feature in S7
Tcool, 13 Mar 2016LG G5 also.I know but I hate LG phones :S
Equinox Hydroid, 13 Mar 2016All what i like in the S7 is the always on displayLG G5 also.
TN, 13 Mar 2016And I already told you that I know Note.5 users who can stretch their battery charge to 3 days... moreMy current stats.
I hav used 21 hrs of my phone.
Started at 99 percent.. now stands at 30 percent
Wifi was on for 14 hrs
Screen on time 5 hrs 11 mins to be precise
Wifi data used is 150 mb over this 21 hrs..
I didn't game.. some calls and watsup
And lot of surfing and some videos
Now thts proof tht note 5 can last 24 hrs with moderate usage..
[deleted post]First of all: Stop confusing me with TheNeighbor and touting the "plastic Note 3" because I could give a damn about that phone.
Imy not going to go through your whole list of things you consider "light useage," but - watching videos online isnt light usage. If you sit around all day and watch videos online: I don't care of you use WIFI only or not it's going to drain your battery.
After all, I own 2, yep 2 Note 5's. Nothing special about yours that I can't do, but I don't lie about stats.
Tcool, 13 Mar 2016How about showing a screen shot of Note 3 with light use reaching 18 hours of battery?
You can't!Just curious why you'd get a phone that has an octa-core processor with 4GB RAM for "light use?"
Equinox Hydroid, 12 Mar 2016After long thinking My next device will be the Note 5 as the S7 Edge is too expensive now more... morePlus it Still comes in 64 & 128 gb internal memory versions (except some regions) unlike the S7 ,S7 edge & LG G5 .And It still has one of the best Camera on a smartphone.

TN, 13 Mar 2016And I already told you that I know Note.5 users who can stretch their battery charge to 3 days... moreCan Note 3 do that? No way! Only 6 hours is the maximum for Note 3.
It cannot even stretch up to 18 hours with extra battery.
ein, 12 Mar 2016For ur info note 6 is a removable battery phone...Note 6.... Are u sure?
Bunyip22, 13 Mar 2016Its a fact that using a fast charger degrades a battery quicker because it operates at a highe... moreYou didn't answer the question:
Why Samsung still keep the fast charging with S7/S7 Edge?
And for sure they will still have it in Note 6.
Kindly elaborate how the Samsung designer will keep it to the succeeding models if it will have bad effect?
TN, 13 Mar 2016Sorry to disappoint you. I've been recently cycling my 6-month old STOCK batteries. Let's talk... moreYou are right, I am really disappointed with that plastic phone Note 3 that cannot even last up to 18 hours of normal use even when I connected it to Samsung mobile WiFi to supplement daily task of minimizing battery usage. You cannot get "18 hours" with just light usage, not with full brightness, not with LTE on, no gaming, and less than 200mb data. Very disappointing plastic phone.
Good I changed to Note 5 that gives more than 24 hours of battery with 64GB that is more than enough for SMART user and supports to one of a kind VR experirence.
