Xiumin, 26 Nov 2015Not only Apple & Sony. Huawei, Oppo, Vivo, HTC, Gionee, Xiaomi, ZTE, Motorola, Asus, Black... moreThis is the exact wrong thing happening - a trend for everyone to become RENTERS than owners of what they are buying.
Sealed battery means they want you relying on their service centers, forcing you to buy "battery packs", and ultimately subcontiously for you getting a new one every year.
No memory slot means you pay more for more memory capacity.
Even making these "flagship" devices fragile is a wanted thing for you? It's another ploy for you breaking that expensive toy faster.
Fast charging/fast wireles charging - the faster to destroy that sealed battery.
It's a silly shameless trend for these greedy companies to increase profit yearly. And you are agreeing to all of these?

Huawei, Oppo, Vivo, HTC, Gionee, Xiaomi, ZTE, Motorola, Asus, Blackberry(Priv), Lenovo, Meizu for example have none of their flagship with removable battery anymore. Name me 10 other brands that still use removable battery in flagship other than LG. You need to realized the game has changed. Your era of removable battery no longer exist. Admit it. You are getting old for this. You couldn't keep up with tech.

Note 5 its an excellent PHONE! not a government super computer, how much storage does one actually need on a phone??? 64 gigs its fine and enough!
sam, 25 Nov 2015No bro Apple iPhone 6s plus load game faster... Apple iPhone 6s plus beat note 5 in speed test... moreApple is class?.... please.... apple still doesn't have a file explorer.... not really a smart phone is it given my Nokia from 13 years ago had a file explorer.
If you are a power user then stick with your note 4 128 sd slot and removable bigger battery (3220 vs 3000 mah) are way more useful then a flashy design. Note 5 isnt really an upgrade as specs are basically the same as note 4. Wait for next note model and see what happens.
Users who use Note 5 are just for fun and fashion. Real and heavy users need card slot and removable battery on phone.
manoj, 25 Nov 2015WORTH UPGRADING? Presently I am using note 4 and now planning to upgrade to 5 but when I read... moreDon't depend on reviews here try it in a store in your hands as most of the negative comments here doesn't concern note 5 users I'm also plannig to get note 5 replacing my note 4
I am convinced Sammy finally decided to add card slot up to 256 gb, not the removable batt. Finally N5 is history and happy not to buy it. Fortunately save for S7 & N6 bff year 4k all takes.

Why are you really want to badly be dependant on going to a service centers? Because it's what Apple, Sony, and Apple users are doing? They have to wait days if batteries aren't in stock? You have to endure having to carry charger/powerbank/charging pad if you're a Heavy user? Having to endure plugging in more often, until you realize the 300 cycle life is almost up - that's like less than a year if you charge daily. Within 6 months of you charge twice daily. This is the future of powering our devices?
I've handed down my previous Galaxy Notes to family members, and have replaced the batteries - practically like brand new devices. They are so happy using bigger screen devices.

The back cover is unremovable. You send it to the shop and get a new battery & it so simple. We never had problem with watch battery before. Smartphone following the same concept. Don't tell me about the price difference. I know. It just an analogy. If you keep being like this you will end up not having a new smartphone and stuck with old model forever.
MaS, 25 Nov 2015Non removable battery - the most stupid technological trend of the last times!!! After ca 2 ye... moreAnd lets not forget that a sealed battery system doen't allow third-party accessories llike extended batteries that will DIRECTLY power the device more efficiently than transferring power from a powerpack/powerbank. Just waiting for the new stocks of Zerolemon 10,000mAh batteries for my Note 3, knowing I have to wait and see what will be the Note 6.
Non removable battery - the most stupid technological trend of the last times!!! After ca 2 years cost of battery itself and additional cost of service - never buy!
Presently I am using note 4 and now planning to upgrade to 5 but when I read and saw many reviews I gave up the idea of upgrade. Nothing notable seems to be new . It is even worse than note 4 - No expandable memory, no removable battery, they even downgraded the battery power.
