but the efficeny is 57% better so that should do the trick
No 4k screen, battery is lower, no dual camera, is this worth €1,000 definitely not, fail Samsung. I'm waiting for Note 9.
I am a blind lover of note series and will buy note 8 what so ever. But I have 2 issues to be rectify by Samsung.
1. Screen size 5.7 is enough dont go for 6.3 or 6.4
2. The main issue (battery) it should be 5000 Mah. Replaceable or non replaceable doesn't matter.
Remaining specs provided on this page are awesome.
I agree with the guy that said for this price, there should be a 5000MaH battery, and BTW, it should be replaceable. There should also be a 3.2 Ghz or larger quad, and no octa-core processor. If Samsung would really beef up this note 8, it would be the best seller of all times!

with the price tag on this phone, then i think the phone should have an internal memory of 128gb, 6.0 inches screen, 5000amh battery, 6gb ram, finger print sensor

company should give a battery capacity of 5000mah in note 8 as a9 pro is having
without the dedicated card slot for dual sim, this phone is not worth paying such a high price. 64 gb is not enough samsung need to think over this
Why Samsung is being slow is because they selling there designs and technology too Apple. Which I think is big disadvantage too Samsung because allows Apple to catch up.
Daniel W, 10 Jul 2017Money.If not money as bribe then what?
Apple would be nothing without Samsung.
Daniel W, 10 Jul 2017Money.Isn't the whole competition between Apple and Samsung supposed to be about technology. Like giving away secret away for bribe off money. If I was in Samsung business, I would not let Apple catch up.

Without those two, we'd be stuck with slow devices and nothing to excite us, no innovation. There use to be more than 100 things iOS can't do, around the iPhone 4 era. Now Apple is following Android features we have enjoyed since 2008 - OLED screen (well, this year), split screen (really?) and stylus (after all what Jobs pointed out) on the iPad Pro, better battery because the iPhone became bigger, bigger screen, water-resistance, NFC (well, sort of), a files explorer (that's funny), more internal memory, and better camera (wow, iOS users didn't know their front facing sensor was just 1.2MP).
Competition makes Samsung give us better features, except for the silly trend in making devices absurdly thin that we can't have bigger battery capacities. All what Tim Cook does is to make sure the sales team do stunning slow clean graphics with John Ive's British accent telling us how innovative their product is with 20% - 30% faster, or thinner, or lighter.
The masses just fall for it without know that they are buying the same old thing that does the same things.

I'd rather have my parts in almost every phone sold because that means that I'm making a profit on almost every phone sold, mine or not. Samsung gets money when they sell a Galaxy, and they get money wherever they sell an iPhone. So it really doesn't matter how many Galaxies they sell in the long run. It gives them the freedom to offer more choice at less volume. If they want a business model that is the polar opposite of Apple Inc., this is it.

Please Make it BIG. As big as possible and if possible put a mic on the Stylus. Just a thought.
Anonymous, 07 Jul 2017NopeAccording to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voice_over_LTE
the Samsung Galaxy Note series has supported VoLTE for several years.
