Most people can't tell what's better, and the masses think iOS is the best till they try Android.
This phone I think might be going head to head with Samsung if the iPhone rumers are right. If I was Samsung helping Apple with technology such as screens being sold to Apple by Samsung is not something I would do. As competition and competitiveness matters. Because off this Samsung might have difficulty coming up with something new which Apple have not done. Is appears Samsung is working for Apple and Apple not working for Samsung. If Apple can come up with some sort off new technology and be the first for on-screen fingerprint recognition this would be a huge advantage for Apple. Removing the headphone jack I think is huge dissadvatage for Apple. But that's if your not into using blue tooth. I doubt very strongly if blue tooth headphone work in the same way as the special iPhone headphone, but shows off your device by wearing them. As a fashion accessory instead off buying third party blue tooth headphone. I noticed how now that Apple has removed paring android devices with iOS devices by blue tooth and icloud email is not longer available on Android. So if u want icloud emails and to be able to send photos by blue tooth you must buy Apple. Apple appears to be cutting off the other methods to transfer data between android and Apple. So soon only android will only work with Android and Apple will only work with Apple. Separating the two.

After i read twice, i think i will stay on Mate 9 Pro. I saw on the rumor list another two phones with nice specs about the camere, LG V30 and Nokia 9...but they are only rumors...Once again, thank you !
Looking forward to getting the Note8. While I still do not like the idea of a sealed battery and glass back, I'm getting this for the subsidy unit that I have been holding off since the Note5 (terrible only low 32GB internal memory where I live), and I had to return the Note7.
Getting a Zerolemon 8500mAh power case that will usually come out 4 months after the release of a smartphone. At least that will maintain the shody battery capacity. Based on everything I do, I need at least 6000 mAh worth of power for running my device to its fullest potential without having to plug in or carrying a big @$$ powerbank - how in the world can you stand having to carry and charge an extra thing daily? Seriously.
I've tried the fingerprint scanner of the S8 Plus, and there's little fuss about not being able to properly place your finger correctly. Besides, I use Google SmartLock that keeps my smartphone unlocked unless it's disconnected from my Bluetooth earphones. There's always the iris scanner.
$1,100 ? They couldn't even put the fingerprint under the display or add 8GB of RAM and they still want $1,100 for the base 64GB model ? I'll just buy a small house or a used car instead I'm done with Samcrap.
Perfect specs as usual, just hope the battery is bigger than the Note 7's and much safer lol
I will NOT buy Note 8 and remain with my Note 4 if the battery gonna be Non removable.
samsung usually make a big screen size display but user also love small size screen to keep in a pocket easily so samsung should make about 5 inch or 5.2 inch with a good camera feature and with 3 gb RAM for user in a resonable price
please change the display size to 6.3 inches you are showing 5.7 inches
the phone is going to come with 6.3 inches, 6 gb ram, dual cameria both cameria with ois.
I thought we were over the 5.7 inch screen!!! It will definately look inferior to the s8/s8+... And will it come with a clear case pre-inserted or is that the design???
Nickhawk007, 03 Jul 2017Come guys, are you joking? The camera is still the 12 Megapixeles one??? Really? That's all??? the mega pixel race is dead, its all about sensors, ISO, sensitivity
pretty much any of the latest cameras above 8MP can shoot very similar quality photos whether is a 12MP camera or a 20MP
$1000 for Note 8?
Look at how S8 / S8+ prices are dropping like lead in a fish pond only a few months in. At $1000 the price wouldn't stay up there for long once the bleeding edge buyers have their new toys.
Dat fingerprint placing again, it's like they're making another S8/S8+ with a extra camera and S_Pen, and even lesser battery with bigger screen. I was expecting much better with the note 8
Come guys, are you joking? The camera is still the 12 Megapixeles one??? Really? That's all???
Adrian, 03 Jul 2017What do you think about the camera specs? Pls advice me... wich phone has the best camera? Tha... moreIf you are a photographer and would like to travel without bringing heavy cameras, you would like to consider getting Huawei Mate 9 or Mate 9 Pro (either of the two), or LG V20 These smartphones have the top class camera technology you would ever find today (Unless if there are any latest models released, but I have not yet tried like V30). On the other hand, if you are not into manual modes, and you only need the essential camera features to take descent photos, you can get either LG G6, Huawei P10, Samsung Galaxy S8, iPhone 7/7+, and/or the cheaper Zenfone 3 zoom. On the other hand, this is my opinion and I have used them all (except for the Zenfone 3 zoom). Some might say "this phone is cooler, this phone is better, this phone takes better shots" compared to what I said, but trust me, they might haven't even used them all, and even if they used it, they might have used it in auto mode lol. Anyway, all comes into personal preference. You have the freedom to choose my friend, and also try watching reviews online, you might get what you're looking for.
