I have this tablet for 2 years and all I can say: it's awesome. Never crashed or anything. Battery is great too like 15-20 hours of screen. Camera really nice. 10/10

TQVMGo to sammobile and uodate it manually using odin software, type the model number of your device (example sm-p605) under firmware section in sammobile.com ..note the instructions needed for installation before you go ahead, download the firmware from south east europe or nordic countries... less bloatware with those ones.. Its really easy

I have the SM-P605 and I live in Australia. Its still 4.4.2. I was wondering if any body new when the 5.1.1 update will be available in Australia. New Zealand already has 5.1.1 update, dont know why they got it first :/
I have the SM-P605 and i live in Australia, it is still 4.4.2. Does anyone know when the update 5.1.1 is coming to Australia, New Zealand already has 5.1.1 ffs. Its getting frustrating lol
I have this device since then.i use it a lot at work, for emails and for reading engineering drawings and all types of documents..the recent lollipop upgrade is convenient. This note concept is a big competitor, and it makes samsung the leader of phones and tablets market, I'm wondering why they are not producing a newer more advanced version.
Right from the start I have problems as it the charging time is very long but the local support office find it acceptable. When it really failed to boot up. I paid the service charge plus GST even though the youngsters working there advise against it. The unit did not break down and can perform normally. It seems their staff did not have confidence in this product!
im hoping we get marshmallow as all phones and tablets from 2014 will be getting it.

T-ill, 24 Apr 2016U mean it uses way less ram... Update it using odin Ram usage was higher. But i did a reset and ram usage is lower now. So im happy i did reset. This tablet is great running 5.1.1 now. No lags. Smoother.
I bought note 2014 edition p601 a week ago , i checked for update there isnt so i downloaded lollipop from sammobile.com and baaaam its working without any problems , with lollipop you will notice the difference in performance
You didn't have to custom rom though. The Spen works perfectly only on Android stock.
You couldve just downloaded a different country's update. I downloaded the British and Russian and I am South African.
Check here to get the official Samsung 5.1.1 update. Works like a charm. Install via ODIN.
Good luck, tablet works like a charm. Still going strong :-)
This tablet deserves marshmellow with a major upgrade including some of note 5 features..it was treated piss poorly since it came out..samsung has really given this tab extremely poor update support and still the performance is excellent..Damn sad.. This was a feature device..that gracious display still has to be beaten til date
If you want this device at its peak performance, I highly recommend flashing TWRP and installing CM 13. I have this device, it had screen stuttering, laggy performance and its got hot. Never received OTA for lollipop(South Africa). So I rooted and formatted it, installed CM mod and it runs like a dream, no lags, battery life is excellent. There is not a day I look back and think i shouldn't have done this.
If you want to install CM mod. First Root, then get TWRP and flash it. Then download the rom as well as Gapps. Flash and format the device and you're golden. I use the device as a portable PC in class. Simply devine
