ithehappy, 19 Jul 2015They are accurate when they are. Otherwise the calibration is just awful.Yeah. S health app is good.
blondi, 18 Jul 2015Yes. I would think so. Its handy app for checking humidity and temp Nikhil:) They are accurate when they are. Otherwise the calibration is just awful.
bholaji, 18 Jul 2015My problem was just a small one of downloading. I went to the Samsung sevice center kotla. By ... moreThis is why you need to 'learn' to do the basic stuffs. As far as I have seen almost all the SC people are basically illiterate, they don't know anything besides how to open the phone.
In any case, Lollipop update isn't causing the issue (at least it shouldn't, but my view is restricted with Snapdragon models only, and I believe you have Exynos one), it is a great upgrade from Samsung, because this is the first time I notice minimal lags on TouchWiz.
In any case, you need to fully wipe the phone before upgrading to Lollipop. No, not that option of Restore factory default settings which is found under Settings, but from Recovery, then Wipe everything, Cachec, Dalvik cache, System, basically everything but the External SD card (if you happen to have one), then flash a Lollipop ROM with Odin (it's software made by Samsung itself), now see whether the problems you mentioned retain or not, they shouldn't.
Let me know.
Shaheen, 18 Jul 2015Friends Which Mobile should I buy..?
LG G3 or Samsung Note 3..?
Which one is the best in al... moreG3 will have better camera, and that's all.
Get this straight, and this has nothing to do with my disgust towards LG products, G3 can't even be remotely compared with Note 3.
I was practically in love with G3's design, (I still appreciate it), but then using it for one week, well all I can say that the experience was horrible. Just two things to mention will be, that software is one heck of a mess (people talk bad about TouchWiz, unbelievable) and simple awful reception. Where phones like a decade old Nokia 1200 could keep signal, the G3 won't. And I won't even go to mention the build quality, and then the display, just head over to Anandtech and read the display section review in detail.
Yeah we know that mate, you have made it very clear that you like KK and want to stay on that.
Anonymous, 19 Jul 2015Exactly 2 hoursTo fully charge note 3 from 0% to 100% it takes between 1hr 40-50 mins.
I would rather stay on kitkat. Dont think lollipop is very stable. With so many isues i wont take the chance even if i received update for it. My note 3 is running smooth!
bholaji, 18 Jul 2015My problem was just a small one of downloading. I went to the Samsung sevice center kotla. By ... moreThe issues you have are due to lollipop only!
If i were in your place i would have been more happy with 4.4.2
It's way better than any lollipop out there. Great battery life, no ridiculous ram usage, no freezing or crashing of apps, no overheating, nothing!
khalid01, 15 Jul 2015Hy guys how much time note 3 battery is taking to fully charge from 0 to 100%Exactly 2 hours

Friends Which Mobile should I buy..?
LG G3 or Samsung Note 3..?
Which one is the best in all sence....?
bholaji, 18 Jul 2015You can upgrade to lollipop. There are no problems. But make sure do the factory reset downloa... moreIve never received lollipop update on note 3. I got a software update over a month ago and its still on kitkat. As i said before i dont what that was for as nothing has changed in note 3.
Nikhil Kawatra, 18 Jul 2015Yes agreed . As far as sensors are concerned they degraded those phones. Even the LG G4 does ... moreI agree to Nikhil. Its a shame though. Samsung and other brands must have there reasons to not fit the sensors in their new phones.
blondi, 18 Jul 2015Thats right. So i dont understand why they didnt have it in s5 s6 and note 4? And will they ha... moreYes agreed . As far as sensors are concerned they degraded those phones. Even the LG G4 does not have Temp and Humidity. My guess is Note 5 wont have one.
blondi, 17 Jul 2015Lollipop for some people are still having problems. They are still sending out stabilty update... moreYou can upgrade to lollipop. There are no problems. But make sure do the factory reset download the lollipop and install after that download your application again. It works perfectly alright. Remember after upgrading it's very risky to downgrade though you can downgrade from the service center.
Saurav Ghosh, 17 Jul 2015You have said so many things, but never said what is the problem actually! Wondering why that ... moreMy problem was just a small one of downloading. I went to the Samsung sevice center kotla. By mistake they degraded my android 5 to 4.4.2 which I never asked for. When I checked the phone it was old kit kat 4.4.2. So I requested them to upgrade to my original lollipop 5. Since then I started getting multiple problems. Freezing, heating, apps take time to open. Some time it switches off automatically. Some time blank page goes blank. Degrading created the problems. What I know it's a risky job and before degradation do the factory re set and then you can downgrade some high end phones. After going 4 times to the service center the problems continue. Samsung will not change the set so I decided to stop using Sam phones. Let's see what happens I have already approached the CNBC AWAZ pehradar. It's still under warranty.
Nikhil Kawatra, 18 Jul 2015s4 and Note 3 have all the sensors -Location, gyroscope, Accelerometer , Light, Proximity, Co... moreThats right. So i dont understand why they didnt have it in s5 s6 and note 4? And will they have it on new note 5? If s6 didnt have it then i doubt note 5 will not have it Nikhil.
blondi, 17 Jul 2015Yeah. You would think with note 4 being newer model it would have it.s4 and Note 3 have all the sensors -Location, gyroscope, Accelerometer , Light, Proximity, Compass, Thermometer, Barometer, hygrometer. They removed Temp and Hygro in S5, S6 and Note 4. Light and proximity is automatically used by camera .
blondi, 17 Jul 2015I use S health app that came with note 3 to check temperature and humidity. They should includ... moreYes S health or "Galaxy sensors" app. Besides Temp, Humidity and compass - i have not used other sensors. Probably proximity sensor is used by camera.
