Gsmarena has said in Samsung G7102 review that G7102 has poor sunlight legibility. You are saying that TFT and LCD displays have good legibility under direct sunlight. How is it so?.
really if upgrade 4.4.2 kitkat it has bad step...But what it can happen???
Happy with my new note 3 white gold. Although an update came too fast & i noticed my handset to heating on the earpiece part down to the center. Can anyone help me with this? Is it true that the new update drains battery fast?
Anonymous, 14 Mar 2014At what screen brightness level do you use your phone?I do keep my screen brightness to about 30% and I find it brought enough. It is a misconception that Super AMOLED (active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) "hurts" your eyes "because it's so bright" than LCD or TFT types. It's the other way round as LCD based screens have side ambient lighting.
The pixels of AMOLED based screens are self illumination. What's black on the screen is what pixels are off. "...the black pixels actually turn off, AMOLED also has contrast ratios that are significantly better than LCD." That's why I like darker themes, and consumes lower power. You can further lower the brightness with the Screen Filter app for easy on the eyes reading at night.
"AMOLED displays may be difficult to view in direct sunlight compared with LCDs because of their reduced maximum brightness." However, the auto brightness is actually higher than the manually adjusted brightness against under sunlight.
"It has the broadest color gamut of any mobile display of up to 97% of the Adobe RGB color space, hence making it a wide-gamut display." You can switch to the color mode you want, ether you want things to pop or just plain realistic in movie mode.
shahbaz gull, 14 Mar 2014When kitkat will be available in UAE??? Hello. I would suggest out of my experience not to rush for KitKat upgrade. Battery drainage & Over Heating issues kills all the excitement! Wait till Samsung fixes the issue. Rest is your call.

My Note 3 experience:
I have a UK Note 3 & still no sign of Kit Kat Update. Also facing the "Protective shield has forces stop .....".
The Other Note 3 updated on Kit Kat is a bad experience: 1. Massive Battery Drainage & 2. Overheating.
I still hope Samsung provides a fix quickly!

S SUDHAKAR, 13 Mar 2014In some parts of India EDGE is fast (15 KB/s). I have experienced too.With 15kbps, I'd just keep my old 2009 Sonyericsson J220.
Yeah, just stick to your N8 should suite you fine, and no need to have a Note 2 to complain about battery. Just no point without faster speeds like up to 300kbps on 3G and up to 2mbps on LTE like what I get on my unlimited data service.
You should write a strong letter your device provider to help give you the data speed you want. Your posts about your complaints here are useless and waste our time.
