> In reply to Mayan @ 2013-08-01 08:55 from PI}A - click to readIt totally works. You just need to make sure you have the compatible 11–pin type that is also compatible with the Note II, S3 and S4. The old one that works with the Galaxy Note 1 will NOT work for the Note 8.

I've also found an HDMI to VGA adapter for connecting to old monitors and talked about it:

- TV-out (via MHL A/V link)- I want to know if I connect Samsung Note 5100 to TV through MHL cable, whether it will work and does it support HDMI and whether someone tried it.

Please advise. Which is better between note 8 and note 10.1 in terms of the camera quality and the battery life? This will help me in deciding on which to buy. Thank you.

Hi, I have recently bought this tablet. Wanted to know if anyone has tried connecting it with an external display or television set? I understand that TV-out is possible - just wanted to know how does it work? Is the entire screen reproduced on the TV or are there only select apps that work this way. Also, can you use an external keyboard while the device is connected to a TV?

Pls help me to decide, should I replace my 7.7 with this Note 8.0? I'm considering to buy this because of the S-Pen. Would it be practical? Thanks

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-07-24 23:55 from fsV9 - click to readThere are quite a few things to take into consideration:
1. Do you want a small device or do you want a tablet to carry around as your office?
2. If the answer is "smaller"device, then of course it's the S4..... if the answer is "Tablet" then, obviously, the Note is the answer.
3. The two has the same chipset and OS and will perform similarly.
4. If you like the bigger unit, then you're going for a smart and effective office to carry around. I have one, and it is ideal to run your business from. Use bluetooth headset for phone, PLEASE not the large device to talk onto in public!!
The smaller device is not as efficient for browsing, internet banking etc. but still is nice to have as phone, with those functions as option.
