I want to buy a new cell phone.GALAXY S4 is out of my budget.So I'm going for Note2.Is Note2 good or bad?

go with note 2 surely the update gurus will keep it current it is a big piece of the Samsung pie.

Bigger screen , nearly same cpu, enough camera, 13 mp camera of s 4 may detect too many flaws on face,
U may not need smart pause of s4
And note series is unique and note 2 is v convenient to use compared to others.
Android version difference; u can upgrade yr android version when available.

I'm really confused about which phone to get the note 2 or the s4 ? I see that the note 2 is better in battery life despite having a bigger screen it also has the amazing spen ? But I'm afraid that it won't get future updates like the s4 will ? So what do you think

I had problems with failed to mount efs, boot loop, factory mode on and imei 049...not registered in network all connected to bad efs and i had no backups whatsoever -if anyone faces these problems, don't be discouraged because i fixed mine: first i used odin 1.85 to flash stock frimwere again - nothing changed (i was already on stock but had a boot loop due to bad efs!!) - boot loop problem - done in mobile service shop (my choice was not samsung, a simple one) with ns pro box - 2 minutes work no payment for me but 10 euros normally - factory mode on - this fix herehttp://forums.androidcentral.c...sermode.htm­l , which is great, and imei 049...not registered on network - again ns pro box, 5 minutes work, all my friend with ns pro box did was rewrite the correct ime and flash it with the box (correct imei under the battery).that's all, my lovely note 2 is back in business; backing up everything is always good but even if you made a mistake, it's not the end for your note 2, at least not in my kind of situation :-)

So when are we receiving the update for 4.2 Jelly bean. There is no absolutely no news on this. Is Samsung doing it on purpose as i see even a lowly Micromax has already upgrading their Mobiles.

I bought the N7105 last month. There are two things that I don't like on this phone:
1) The in-call volume is too low compared to other phones even the dumb ones.
2) The battery life is not as stated here on GSM arena and other websites. The standby is hardly 48 hours with both bluetooth and wifi disabled.

Samsung tops most gadgets today and I support it. I just hate the fact that you can not print from any other printer except samsungs'. This means I have to replace my printer with a samsung printer as it only supports samsung printers. This is not good. It looks like samsung is doing what Macintoch is doing. They are getting there, slowly but surely. I might as well just buy an Apple device as they are quality machines. With Applel devices, iPad, iPhone etc., you can print from any printer, no restrictions. How about that.......!!!!!

Today if you are analyzing smartphones you may not find much difference in terms of features. But one feature that stands out in note 2 is the s-pen notes. I am used to carry a small note pad & a pen as i get almost 10 calls daily from my new clients. After scribbling i would read out to my marketing executive for them to take an action. At times during this process the email or phone no communicated over phone gets distorted. Today i have a bluetooth head set ( which is a must if you want to make use of this feature). Ever call that i get from the new client is scribbled on to the note and send as an email to my marketing executive for him/her to action. This i believe is a killer application. If you have a similar such application then just give it a short its worth it.

Both are of good quality MicroSD Cards but make sure what ever you buy is original and Class10.

If u r using any screen protector to user phone screen, if it is covering up the sensors then this problem occurs. Either remove the whole screen protector or cover the screen with out covering the sensors available.
