I was looking to buy the S Pen for the Note 10.1 as it is slightly thicker and I loved its nib's natural feel than the plastic nib of the Note II.
I found another S Pen instead - with an eraser end and extra nibs. Have a look:
This pen meets my needs to be able to do more art with the Note II. It cost P990 ($24) at Digital Walker. I love it!
I want to connect my note 2 to kies via usb but it says set pc studio mode.... but how to set pc studio mode in note 2??? please help me...

alaaomar, 08 Feb 2013how to have the multi-window option please? i have software v. 4.1.1 and my phone doesn't upda... moreHold the back button, multiwindow-enabled apps pop up on the left hand side. :)
For those who would like to disguise their Note II, I made a better version for the smaller planner and here is the video link:
The new version integrates the old S Pen with the pen holder accessory and a top and bottom thin elastic string to hold both into place. The cut was designed to make them fit exactly and snugged into place. I didn't glue the top and bottom pages to allow charging and wired earphones to connect. The S Pen will be useful and will give the illusion that you are just jotting something down when you need to use the Note II.
It took me a bit of thinking and twice more labor for the exact cutting as I needed to make a template, pencil the cut edges every 3 to 4 pages at a time, referencing from the outer corner.
While others are showing off the device, I'm actually hiding this. For more information how to build one, head over to the XDA forum thread:
Is 4.2 guna have features for moving apps to sd does anyone have any idea?

som, 08 Feb 2013my usage after yesterday's 36.13mb.. after 100% charge: screen time on: 2h 22m 15s, voice call... moreThat's still a steep battery drain there, although the gaming could have done the draining.
I've tried some scenarios with my rooted Note II on One Battery Guard and with continuous downloading torrents at 100kbps (with full cpu at 1600mhz), I only get close to 9% drain per hour; with power save mode (limited to 1200mhz cpu), I only get 7% drain per hour with the same setup.
Normal browsing gives me somewhere 16 to 20 hours daily with half the time with screen on.
I can strongly advise that you don't update to this 4.1.2. It only has a few minor features like ink blotch, TW toggle icons arrangements - and the only major thing that is affecting the Note II is that battery drain as most are telling.
Parrysingh, 08 Feb 2013Sorry heavy use for 6 hours not 5, 40% down...my usage after yesterday's 36.13mb.. after 100% charge: screen time on: 2h 22m 15s, voice calls 51m 40s, and played game(frontline commando) for close to 40 mins. now when i am writing this the battery left is 56%.. do you think its improved? frankly speaking i still don't think so.. i still feel the drain is heavy pls reply .
Note: i will always b on on 3g.
