Niki, 26 Mar 2012Lot of peoples is saying here (Who is having Note) this handset having some hanging problem &a... moreIt depend on what you are looking for.I think Galaxy Note is by far the best.This Note are far better than Nokia Lumia 900. Nokia Lumia 900 is running on Window phone7? It had far less application compare to Android and Apple.
eng.mido-lord, 16 Apr 2012which is better ,, sony xperia s or galaxy note ?? samsung note is better cause big display and good led brightness and long life and long time bettry backup
No problem. Just install batterry saving app (juice defender,etc)
It helps a lot!!!
But doesn't help a lot for browsing.
Best phone i ever use. If blackberry messenger can be used in this device (hopefully someday) it will be more amazing
I have been using Note for a month now. It's more than enough time to get used to the screen size (consider the fact that my previous phone was a 3" LG KU990), as a matter of fact 5,3" seems perfect now. Here are my initial views:
=== PROS ===
- battery lasts forever
- plays absolutely all video files, no conversion necessary
- very responsive screen (vs. LG K990)
- takes fantastic photos of my dog! (lacks aperture setting but hey, it's not a DSLR)
- records superb 1080 videos of my dog!
- anything else you can thik of really
=== CONS ===
- S Pen, rarely but still, goes haywire (it's about a milimeter off)
- the optional original flip-case cover is fatter on one side, does not fit into the original navi unit! (I had to modify the navi unit) It's a big design fail, Samsung!
- loudspeaker volume may be a tad too low if carried around in a backpack
Now a tiny bit of explanation when it comes to battery life. Since the first few charges, battery life increased substancially (used to be around 2 days). It all comes down to personal preference but since it's AMOLED, I set my background to pure black (RGB colour profile!) with a hint of gradient at the bottom. I set the brightness to the lowest setting, switching to auto, half or full only when necessary. Wi-Fi switched on only when needed. When I hit the hay I put it in airplane mode.
I'll see what's changed and once ICS finally arrives and brings some changes (hopefully a processor clock setting). I'll get to know this beast better and post some more hands-on coverage.
For anyone struggling with the dilemma - Note or HTC One X - I say, dont think twice, Note, all the way! No questions asked.
is it possible to update latest android versions like ice cream sandwich....?
Is it better than any galaxy tablet? :)cuz' im using a galaxy tab 7.0 plus.. and a b;ackberru 9860. i love it.. but im thinking that i'd love this note more.. hmm???
antchin, 19 Apr 2012microSD, up to 32GB, 2 GB included...?? i bought it 2 weeks ago ... no microsd included ...why... moreSamething that came in my package. there is no memory card included when I got it. Im from the Philippines. I guess that's the package for South East Asia.
I have been using this phone for a week now and so far this is the best phone I've ever used to date!!! Better than my Blackberry or even my previous iPhone. :)
[deleted post]Hey...it depends on the time your screen was on in that particular 23 hours....the phone consumes a lot of battery even if no application is running and just the screen is on...
Been on ICS for while now with my S2, now I recently updated my GN to ICS and I think it's better than my S2 which is strange cause I never used the Note because I preferred my S2.Now I don't know... mb the Note is better.I feel it runs ICS better than the S2 although it gets much lower benchmark scores.
