I sent it back to Fido for repaire and take 10 days without phone and they replace some part on this phone but still having same problem, so I set it back as manufacture default setting and couple days later doing it again, and Fido want me to bring it back to store to repair and have no phone for 10 days again.
This phone also freeze up while you are on the phone or when you try to dial extension the number pad does not pop up for dial a number.
I have one other friend also have same phone and she rarely use the phone as well and having similar problem as I have. So don't buy this phone.

Reasonably fast, I got one for my wife but am currently looking for an os update battery life is not great but an is update should help. You can get it on a plan in b.c. Without a data plan which is cheaper, overall not a bad unit.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-07-23 22:13 from IBxy - click to readI've had this phone for about a year now. I find the QWERTY keypads definitely useful, and it is a pretty good android. I only find that there are no firmware updates for this phone, and the battery life drains extremely quickly with the brightness up, with gps, mobile and wifi networks on. If you turn the brightness and gps and wifi down when you don't need it, then it does save you a ton and can last you a whole day. The 'emergency' battery life settings is actually quite spectacular, my battery bar went all the way to the bottom, and started blinking but it took a good hour and a half before it actually turned off. Another setback is the internal flash memory and available RAM memory, which are realistically 130mb and 256mb respectively. I find that external memory cards don't help much with apps, as the installation memory eats up the internal. The screen is a bit small, but manageable. The touch screen lags every now and then, but it isn't too bad. I find playing music on the speaker of the phone is actually quite loud to. I'd give it a 6.5/10 for smartphones. Hope this helps

Got this phone from Van Craig long time ago, cool phone sleek, got all the function i need...only problem is battery only last a day if you leave your wifi on, also if you turn on the brightness to maximum it dries off your battery really quick...so ROFL, battery has no problem, its the phone...

overall, 7 out of 10. (inconvenience at the end of the day you gotta charge it)

> In reply to Rusty @ 2012-02-04 15:53 from IB%x - click to readI had the same problem. I got my phone through customer service from Fido. They've offered me this phone with a reduced plan and waived system access fee which I've been paying it for more than 15 years and just found out some peoople had never had to pay it in the first place. I called and complaint about the battery. I asked them if this was a defective and have warranty? They said I have to send just the battery in to the manufacture and will probably take a couple of weeks. Well, that didn't help. If I had to sign up for 2 yrs agreement, I would have pay a little more to get a better phone.

This phone (replacement for one that died recently, is just a temporary standby until I can buy a Samsung Galaxy SIII, 32 gig.
