This should be launched in countries with large population of foreign workers. We have local SIM and SIM from our home country. No need to carry two phones anymore.

> In reply to robdevil XI @ 2014-04-06 22:04 from 3WrD - click to readWe do. We are foreign workers who have the local SIM card and SIM card from our country. Our friends and relatives back home can communicate cheaply with us via our roaming line. That's why I always carry two phones. With a dual SIM phone, there's no need for two phones.

Hi there! Is it possible to know if this specific model works in Portugal, if so, does anyone knows if it will reach our stores, and when?

Thanks.

Oh, by the way, this phone is similar to the normal s5, with the addiction of the dual sim feature, right?

Thanks again.

The dual SIM version of the Galaxy S5 works as a quad band device (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) for 2G in its two SIM cards. For 3G it handles three frequencies (850/1900/2100 MHz) based on the HSDPA standard. This device also handles 4G based on the HSDPA+ protocol.

Problem with Samsung is that their interface of high end phones is similar to their low end phones.. Especially dialer pad.. Looks a cheapo now.. Very less original android..
