I've been a very satisfied Samsung Galaxy S user for a number of years. Started on the Galaxy S, upgraded to the Galaxy S II x, then the Galaxy S III....skipped the Galaxy S IV (because I was very happy with my Galaxy S III) and my last upgrade was to the Galaxy S V.
Before I purchased the Galaxy S V, I tried the Nexus 5. I hated that phone so much I ended up returning it and got the Galaxy S V. To make a tired point, I learned that I was happy with the Galaxy S series and shouldn't have tampered with what was working.
But I'm really put off by the fact that they took away the removable battery, there's no memory expansion slot & it's no longer waterproof.
It almost feels as if this is a downgrade. I've been a satisfied Samsung Galaxy S user for years and my trade to the Nexus 5 proved to be a mistake, but I don't think the Galaxy S6 is a wise investment. For the first time (ever) I'm considering an iPhone (perhaps the 6 Plus).
Samsung....you guys have made a horrible mistake. This is not the next big thing. This looks like the next big mistake. I'm sure your sales will plummet as a result of this boner.
bob, 29 Mar 2015HTC One M9 will benefit from this "evolution" of the S phone. We now officially have... moreWhat are you trying to convey; your post makes no sense. Please take into account that movies purchased via google play once moved to sd card were not as playing as smooth when on internal memory.
bob, 29 Mar 2015I keep hearing the word "hinder". It will NOT slow down apps once loaded. What is 1/... moreLevel ignorance is high in your post. Please do understand, when read and write speeds are very fast including micro sd will Slow down system and reduce battery life significantly.
bob, 29 Mar 2015I keep hearing the word "hinder". It will NOT slow down apps once loaded. What is 1/... moreWhat makes you think I'm young. It will hinder lots of things because of the new memory. Let me guess those who don't agree with what you say have no idea what they are talking about.
If you compare S6 and S5 you will now for sure, loading videos. Also lots of plans come with 6gb data or more, so it's best to use it.

You do realize that every review says the opposite of what you're saying. gotta love apple fans trolling.
ozzy, 29 Mar 2015I would never buy a phone that has non replaceble battery. Samsung went the wrong was.YOu will... moreSamsung has two year warranty for the battery.
Put radio on Galaxy s6 before you finally release it very important.
Samsung Galaxy manufactures, must know that producing phones without integrated radio is as bad as producing a bad or wast of time.Galaxy s7 must come with radio cos we buy phones to use and as well listen to information from radio at any where in time.

I already had the chance to try the S6 and can safely say that you guys will have to moderate your enthusiasm when you have it in hand. It doesnt look or feel premium and the blue tint of the display is way over on the cold side, not as good as S4 was. Too bad, Samsung did a good job to improve display after S3 but has npw fallen back to ridiculously blue looking whites. That combined with the same old cheap front makes sure the S6 loses when put side by side the iPhone 6.
Dumb idea to copy Apple's downfalls. No expandable memory & non-replaceable battery. Two reason I picked the Samsung S5 over the IPhone! I won't be upgrading to the new S6!

Android users will eventually migrate to other brands now, Samsung will no longer be the preferred.
Saw this phone today at store very much disappointed. I thought it is samsung galaxy e5. When i came very close and picked it found little bit difference. The person standing told that this is samsung galaxy s6. There is no memory expandable in this phone which makes this one worst for me. The best option now is samsung galaxy note 4.
not a goodinstrument samsung misladen no sd card no radio nospace second sim
I would never buy a phone that has non replaceble battery. Samsung went the wrong was.YOu will need to replaceit after a year.. it will cost up to 100 dolars instead 20-25.
