Anonymous, 25 Mar 2015C'mon people we are in 2015 there is no need for an fm radio anymore now that there is online ... moreYoung man, i do not waste my money on data plans so I can stream music. I listen to the radio. I also load my phone and SD cards with music. Why pay for streaming/Data plans which young people foolishly buy? Streaming is great, but only via wifi! Load your music...
AnonD-373771, 27 Mar 2015How exactly is Samsung copying apple, would you care to explain. Most flagship devices have no... moreI keep hearing the word "hinder". It will NOT slow down apps once loaded. What is 1/2 second wait when you can watch 30 movies on your sd card, swap out IF needed. You younger people are easily swayed with hype.
AnonD-376234, 28 Mar 2015Actually, it is in a sense waterproof, it's IP 67 certified, which means if you were to say, ... more"Laggy" is irrelevant as far as watching a movie goes or listening to music. There is never any lag time when using SD card for either media. It does slow the phone down, when opening files but not enough to get rid of it. If movies were jerky and music stuttered, then get rid of the SD slots. There are very fast micro sd cards out there, phones should use them.

AnonD-359663, 28 Mar 2015Few things to help you out. Design of S6 is evolution of Samsung ativ s, which apple copied in... moreHTC One M9 will benefit from this "evolution" of the S phone. We now officially have 2 iPhone mfgs.

Pear, 29 Mar 2015I am always confused when people say that. My G3 has really decent battery life and never over... moreMe too, i wasn't believing threads of G3 stating overheating since i use it as a secondary phone.
But one day, i spent an afternoon at a friend with it, doing various things like snapping photos, recording 3 very short slow motion clips and looking for a few apps to download/update on Play store and it's there i noticed the problems.
It's simple, i had more battery on my G3 than on my S5 when i arrived, like 95% on G3 and 50% on S5, after 1hour while i was browsing playstore i saw battery was at 60%, i thought WTH? It's not a phone for heavy usage since it doesn't even hold moderate like this.
For double tap, it's cool at first but got bored after not even 1 month. I only have to hover my hand over my S5 to check for notifications unlike G3. Even multitap unlocking sometimes frustrates me if i use both hands to unlock since G3 is too big for some 1 hand operations, so i can't imagine G4 with will be slightly bigger.
Also let's not mention the lack of sensitivity of the touch panel sometimes or its bugginess when reaching the edges.. A friend of mine noticed same thing on his unit. While we text, problems may appear with keys on far right. I used different keyboard apps of course, hence the touchpanel cause.
On the contrary, Galaxy S4-5 have extremely sensitive touchscreens even without ticking the setting to enhance them more.
And I was surprised that this phone is not able to make timelapse whereas my twice cheaper ZTE Blade S6 can.
I can speak all day long about G3 cons as you can see, i really own one, but it's not the thread for that.
Much better is to do Samsung Galaxy S6 with 3K screen, 4 GB RAM and Snapdragon 820, that's have to be really monster
Pear, 29 Mar 2015I am always confused when people say that. My G3 has really decent battery life and never over... moreIt's in comparison with other devices. Please check out Phone arena they did comparison of S6, S6 edge, G3, M9 among other devices.
With regards to your other question, no one can answer it for sure. I can list pros or cons of both devices, but that might not help.
Thus it's 100% your choice; and it comes down to your personal preference. In my opinion S6 and S6 edge are great devices, so far G4 also seems like a great device.
So I think you can check out S6 and S6 edge and then make a decision.
m86k, 28 Mar 2015I confirm that my G3 has a weak battery's life despite its size : just a few photos and some p... moreI am always confused when people say that. My G3 has really decent battery life and never overheats.
I am still debating whether to stick with LG once the G4 comes out or go back to Samsung. For me, the fact that there are no buttons on the LG G3 and the double tap on the screen thing is the most useful and innovative thing in the last 2 years in mobile phone industry...

S4,S5,S6 DOES NOT HAVE DUAL SIM AND FM RADIO.

Sven, 28 Mar 2015No fm radio, no sd cart slot, no removable battery, no waterproofing... Only more faster ch... more Actually, the battery is removable, just with a bit of effort, so resale will not be affected by non-removable battery (20% of battery life reduction over 2 years) and it is slightly waterproof to some extent, it is still IP67 certified but not very, you can drop it in water and not fear that it's a goner alike to iPhones, the screen wont be flooded either. The microSD card slot was removed because it slows the system therefore making a flaw towards benchmarks. The specs have been upgrade too, and very well so (50% more RAM, 25% better CPU, and the chipset reduces the power usage overall), and a much more stripped TouchWiz UI, and you can delete even the stock Android/TouchWiz apps. So it is quite nicer comparably.
Anonymous, 28 Mar 2015I have had the Galaxy S4 and currently have the S5. I will NOT be getting the S6 for the simpl... moreNo memory slot. . Can't remove battery. . If I needed a phone like that I would have bought an iPhone. . I had a s3 also a s4 and now using a s5... And I Am surely not getting the s6 because it's like a downgrade

It seems as if samsung is going back in time. I honestly haven't gad a good experience with the galaxy line since the dual core galaxy s2. shame on you samsung
Sven, 28 Mar 2015No fm radio, no sd cart slot, no removable battery, no waterproofing... Only more faster ch... moreWatch galaxy unpacked 2015 it will answer most of questions, with regards to ip67 rating, s6 active will be released. Phone arena did a video on it comparing s5 and s6, it's much faster.
Furthermore S6 has both Qi and pma wireless charging built in, along with ufs 2.0 memory (faster read and write speeds than other built in memory, while using less power), best camera, best screen, fast charging and best processor exynos 7420.
I have Galaxy S5 and happy with it. I will not invest money in a phone without SD card and with non removable battery. This is frustrating waiting!!
I agree that the absence of the SD slot sort of blows. But honestly if you get anything less than the 128gb then you're dumb. Most expandable SD slots only go to 64gb that i've seen. As long as you have data cord that's all you need. Plug and play. Also who cares if its not water proof, you shouldn't be getting your phone wet in the first place. I'm personally a Galaxy Note person, and this is the first of the Galaxy S series that's actually 3gigs of ram. So they're getting stronger at least.
gautam ankita, 28 Mar 2015this new mobile is just fabulous.. it has very good specifications....What specs? where? lol, check the z3 or z4 or even theirs compact versions.
Anonymous, 28 Mar 2015not impressed with the s6, after buying an s5 and then finding out about the s6 being released... moreYou did
