and sd card slot.. i mean what if i want to store music externally without using USB or BLUETOOTH..
guys what you mean about non removemable battery? is it build together with the phone or still there's a battery compartment?
Can somebody please tell me how I can viably protect, and "waterproof" the S - 6? Here's why - I have a pretty active life, and sometimes it is at least possible that my new phone could get wet.
it has an usb host so you can attach any drive up to 256 gb on i try already on s5 so why s6 whont read that to alwas can have an external storage with the usb host
AnonD-375762, 19 Mar 2015Prove that most people DO NOT use the extra memory of an SD card.
A 32 & 64Gb sized S6 ... morewater proofing is the main key feature which is missing
so basically all those technology can sink UNDER THE WATER and die... so what is the point?
truly ridicules
Erkan, 19 Mar 2015I think they will suggest you waterproof covers :))There is certainly a reply their what you mean?
please elaborate!
thanks

A 32 & 64Gb sized S6 would be absolutely useless to me, a 128Gb would be viable for no more than 3-4 months, I have so much data, music & video on board.
That's data that can't be erased, music is 20Gb and growing & video is used for work purposes amongst other things.

guys, just for your info, while I don't care about none removable battery, I enquire from Samsung and they charge you a rip off figure of £200 to change your GS6 battery if one day dies.. remember battery is NOT part of your 2 years guarantee.
how about water proofing though?
they deliberately make this NOT water proof, to rip you off more, which the phone sees a splashes of water it is just good for the bin, and I hope you never replace it with another Samsung.
Samsung failed, I truly don't care how much technology they packed in there, if they don't care to protect it with water proofing features, then that tells me something sucks so badly here.
so no matter how you want to argue this, but lack of water proofing is a serious issue here.
technology moved on, and many phones are no offering water proofing feature as standard now, and Samsung gone a step back wards by removing the water proofing, so they offered it in GS5 but not GS6!!?
WHY?
I know the reason, but I hope you have a serious thought about it before buying this piece of useless gimmick, if it sees the water it would be useless.

resisted to buy any of the latest model , they truly not offer much for the money.
S2 still amazing phone, still relevant, still performing, and so nice to carry
shame the mother board died on my, so make sure you back up everything, I lost loads of nice pictures

to me it is just so stupid to make the unibody phone, with no removable battery but STILL UNABLE to offer a water proofing!! that truly sucks. splashes if water and then your £800 phone is good for the bin! yes that is how sensitive they make it to empty your pocket after you water damaged it.
also glass all over the phone might look nice, but certainly NOT PRACTICAL
WHY?
on a simple drop the both side of the phone is exposed to be shatter to pieces, secondly with the glass on both side, means finger prints will be all over your slick phone like a shit! I don't want that.
the rest of the gimmicks will be absolute standard in couple of months on all the new smart phones, so Samsung achieved nothing special here,
don't fall for this and don't throw your money after this fragile phone, you will truly regret it,
I can't stand apple, HTC, but really so eager to see what Sony will offer, and I think they are the one who will be the big winner this year.
buying this phone is like throwing your money into a bin
have some respect for yourself and just wait more exciting phone are soon coming to the market
Good Luck

This is pure greed. Non removable battery? Now if your battery gives up you need to go to a technition to replace it. no memory card slot forces you to buy the phone with bigger memory, because you wont be able to expand the memory afterwards. next move will be in store android updates and chargers that only works on samsungs(again)... capitalism

so they studied and found that not many people uses SD cards however , more and more applications are developed to be stored in SD cards ?!!!!!
some people in Samsung needs a quick termination if so !!

Very disappointed from Samsung. They turned their galaxy to iphone.
What make us like android more?
Open source
Sd cards
Removable battery
.....
For those saying "128gb is TOO BIG to store anything"
You can't judge your memory usage with others.
What happen if your phone just bricked suddenly? Samsung will fix it. You lose all your data and screwed no way to restore them. Happened to my mom S4. But if you have SD no worries, plus when buy new phone you can move all your data easily.
For battery people might want to swap batteries insted of buying charger pack and wait for xx min to charge.
But it's all to user prefernce. It is certain no for me. We can call this phone "android iphone".
I guess that was Samsung goal to pull Apple user to their markets by relasing iphone duplicate.
