Samsung makes marketing with benchmarks for Exynos
Unfortunately, it is not the age of choosing phones with benchmark scores
Snapdragon 810 has better scores in only chip test
But Samsung pretend that s6 with Exynos is so fast
Already buy 32GB Kingston OTG storage.. But not for this S6..i buy for S6 Edge..love it..
Good phone though hey if you're so worried to get sd card and removalbe battery go for Lumia 640 or 640 XL....
Samsung only need to switch to cyanogenmod and do some midification cux only bad thing about samsung is its software previously it was design too but now it have been improved on current s6
From the comments given on the S6 there seems more ddissatisfied readers than satisfied .
Looks like Samsung has aagain missed too many markers.
There have been blogs on how they sshould ensure high end phones have
Not only have they not done these but gone backwards by
Making it a non removable battery
Removed the SD card slot
Looks like Samsung is determined to go the way of Nokia and BlackBerry not listening to customers feedback and think they can get away with it. SSamsung may get away for some time as no other ccompetition has these specks. This is a huge oopportunity for a mmobile manufacturer. Once it is done it will be end of the road for ssamsung unless the cchange this wwith the note 5.
This makes no sense. This is a step backwards. I selected the Samsung S range as it has the flexibility that the iPhone does not. It has expandable memory, it does not bend.... Now we see Samsung trying to become another imitator.... Be the leader Samsung, not the follower! iPhone is still years behind the S5, give us new and innovative, not rehashed and copied!
Seems like the Galaxy S6 has improved in few features and other core features it has gone down. I would not exchange my Galaxy S5 Dual sim for this piece even if provided for free.
Removable battery is easier to replace if the battery goes bad. Which generally is the tendency after a year of use. No sd card. Thats stupid. Recovering files from a crashed mobile was always better when using sd card. Another point down for S6. This one is not even water proof. And don't think they are gonna release it in dual sim.
Yes the chipset and features are improved but have missed on a few core features I would want in my mobile.
It was a big heart break to look into the S6 specs and I was hopefully waiting for its details. I for one will not be getting this one for sure.
Anonymous, 03 Mar 2015That because your Note 2 come with outdated low resolution 8MP & 1080p camera, those photo... moreHow about my Lumia 1020?did you know how much camera resolution it has?it had only 32 GB internal memory.you should have this so u will know if 32 GB is enough or not.narrow minded..
KarimNofal, 03 Mar 2015No removable battery , power bank , not a big deal.
No SD Slot , 128gb isn't that small for a... moreS4 and S5 often freezes up. with a removable battery you dont have to worry for reset.
in expansion cards its not all about on what you store, its also about how to transfer files much easier.
and now we need to worry in accidental drops, so whats with the design if we will buy protective case.
S6 upgrades the design but removed features like removable battery, expansion cards and IP protection. Now Samsung competes only for the looks and this may disappoint them this year. with regards to touch wiz its still unconfirmed if its better now since nobody have used it yet.
Camelon, 02 Mar 2015Where is radio. Ok i understood they dont add FM radio option but at least they could add DAB ... moreThere are a few good Digital Radio Apps you can install, some of these apps even let you record content to listen back to later. I have 2 Digital Radio Apps on my S5 "myTuner" & "TuneIn", both of these are very good digital radio apps that don't cost much for the full versions to get all the features you require. Both of these apps let you listen to any station from any country that broadcast over the internet, these apps will use data to listen to unlike FM Radio, but if you have a good phone plan from your mobile provider this should not be a problem, unless your data plan is only a few hundred megabyte's.
Guys we all know that we bought samsung products only and only for:
1- The acces to change the UI.
2- To drag and drop files on our PC.(no itunes)
3- SD Card.
4- Removable battery.
Sometimes we chose something useful instead of a beauty one.
No one will buy a samsung product because of its beauty (i have a Galaxy S4) and all of you know this ;)
We would choose the iphone wich is way ahead from the others for the design!
Low battery storage, 2k display, and non-removable battery. You will need a powerbank
Michael Parker, 02 Mar 2015Blackberry hit the iceberg and it's a sinking ship I don't want to board.haha
Anonymous, 03 Mar 2015In my opinion no sd card but had 32 GB internal is ok. i had note 2 with 16 GB internal memory... moreThat because your Note 2 come with outdated low resolution 8MP & 1080p camera, those photo & video you taken only need small memory, compare to S6 which is 16MP & 2160P video, that double of your antique Note 2, so don't compare, 32GB is not enough for S6.
Imran9, 02 Mar 2015Why do you need to replace a battery and I mean its 2015.
New minimum internal storage of 32... moreYes the infrastructure is there for cloud services and power banks etc but why should I have to make even 1 compromise?
I'm not like those iPhone Fanboys who even as you see them constantly having to delete apps, need to use a computer and tablet to make up for the things it can't do and have to constantly worry how much charge they have and they'll keep blindly defending it.
I expect every new phone I get to have more features every year and not have to think how much I can bring myself to compromise just because the phone is made of metal.
And anyway metal is a bad material for a phone because it affects signal, conducts heat and is actually more prone to damage because it doesn't flex like plastic does.
