DeeJ, 05 May 2015Hi all, my new S6 Edge arrived today. I am a very careful person when it comes to handsets - ... moreDeej screen protectors are very cheap, and you don't have expertise by khoka Walas n big malls. Unless it's about 5$ it will not be thin and durable. We pay 50cents fr as many as fit us, cutting removing again sticking. Got a transparent back cover that all. Best looks and durable. Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's outclass. All specs are normally in every flagships. Just chill.
DeeJ, 05 May 2015Hi all, my new S6 Edge arrived today.
I am a very careful person when it comes to handsets - ... moreThere are some good screen protector that cover both side of the curve and also the rear of the phone.
The only difficult issue is to apply it because the screen protector is so soft.
But once u apply it correctly , than mmmuuuaacchhh its just as good as it looks as if there is no screen protector.
Get the shop owner/seller apply it for you.
Kirtesh Master, 05 May 2015Yes, I agree with you. Battery drains very fast. I think you have installed some applications especially the one from China which always running in the background and consume a lot of RAM and battery!
sarah, 06 May 2015is anyone else having battery problems with the s6 edge? And with it getting hot and freezing?Battery drain seems normal for me.gets warm at times but not hot and it doesnt freeze at all.
DeeJ, 05 May 2015Hi all, my new S6 Edge arrived today. I am a very careful person when it comes to handsets - ... moreBeen using my S6 Edge without protectors since day one.no scratch.but im careful with it.
Given that theres really an issue with the ram management, but my concern is, can you still download lots of apps & games with the ram issue?

Hi all, my new S6 Edge arrived today.
I am a very careful person when it comes to handsets - i never drop them but ALWAYS put a case and a screen protector on (in the event that i do drop it).
However, with this screen being curved, i am a little concerned that i won't be able to get a protector onto it properly without and ripples etc.
Has anyone else had this issue or would i get away without putting a protector onto it? TIA.
Best Phone ever, bloodiest Iphone killa ever.
Love the fastcharge, best screen seen ever. Camera unbelievable; FHD@60fps or UHD.
Really no cons other then harsh for the fruitfriends.
Ansy, 24 Apr 2015- See in the battery manager which app is eating most of the battery and get rid of it if poss... moreEvery thing is checked, everything is updated, however battery drains very fast. Is there any manufacturing defect in my hand set?
can any one share his experience about the battery performance of S6 Edge? Does it last at least a full day with heavy use and how much time does it take for a full charge?
Anonymous, 04 May 2015Does it have screen mirroring means can we connect to tv via same wifi?Yes, the option is present, you have to show every "top home icons" or use Samsung link app.
Also DLNA sharing works, i've tested it on a Philips led tv.
I forgot to mention that i received a call for 40mins with most of it on speaker max volume (which is loud and has a good quality by the way). I lost 3% on battery. I'm on LTE networks (with drop to 3G when having a call). Battery draining seems normal, i didn't loose a single % while watching TV for 1hr and i have already most of my apps installed.
For those concerned about heating, the phone does heat yes. It's normal, it's a fast cpu in a thin metal/glass body. But it heats really in intensive operations like fastly installing all apps from playstore in LTE like i did, or gaming or recording in 4K. Nevertheless, it heats less than some other phones i have owned (like S3 or G3 for example or most of metal phones). In normal operations (calls included) i don't feel anything.
Back to UI, the phone feels generally smooth, "smooth like 60fps" in most of tasks. I noticed a very minor hiccup ONCE when scrolling back to 1st full page of app drawer, but that's the only time i saw something.
UI is full of nice quick animations/transitions even for simply deleting a file from the file explorer when you pay attention. New flipboard/my magazine implantation is lovely (most left page of launcher).
Note that we lost TripAdvisor automatic lockscreen wallpaper, but it got replaced by Yahoo's weather lockscreen wallpaper.
Turning camera on is blazing fast, same as taking a photo which popups instantly (i made a MMS and choosed camera, this is really speedy compared to a S5 which was quite capabable in same task). I won't detail camera but options are "S5-like" with a few more and you can still download from Galaxy App store missing camera modes.
