kath, 30 May 2016yah, same goes with mine, had this for almost a month, been using sony xperia for 3 yrs before... moreIs s7 smooth(with no lags) like sony z3? I need the answer from someone who really have or had z3.
I just bought this phone yesterday. Everything is fine as expected but the overheating issue while charging as well as using 3G (2/3 minutes) is bothering me. I guess its for Fast Charging (Exynos version). Any solution in this regard will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Get a life.
The S7 lacks features that are essential or if they are there, you can't get to them. For example, I am continually being bombarded by unwanted spam and phishing emails. I can not for the love of me find a block capability. I should be able to highlight the email go to more (which is a moximorone) and hit block auto delete. I can't no where can I find it. Another one is hiding of files folders and photos. I can't find the capability like the S5. Highlight the folder bottom right hit hide. Easy! I am very disappointed with this phone and if I could I would return it and go back to the 5. I give your phone a 3 out of 10.
I am writing this with a broken heart and ruptured mind as I took a decision two months back to replace my love for I Phone with Samsung. After being with I Phone for the last 8 years, taking a decision to move my heart to Samsung didnÂ’t come with ease. It was my son who talked much about the new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and he lured me into it. After having looked at the phone for couple of times, I took a quick decision to go for it and bought the same from Carrefour, Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
I felt the decision was a right one until the morning of 1 June 2016 where my eyes were taken aback by the sight of unclear display screen with green haze marks and some lines over it making the display blurred and invisible.
In despair I rushed to the retailer and showed him the phone. He looked at the same and said he needs to send this for repair. Repair??? A phone which is just two months old and now need to be opened for repair. Is this the Samsung .. a revolutionary phone, making people rething what a phone can do? This is ridiculous. I am suffering of the rethinking phone after having spent my hard earned money on this. The person there at the store immediately got into making his paper formalities for sending this to service centre. He didnÂ’t even disable the apps in the phone or reset the phone. The Sim was removed and given to me and I was telling him that I need to reset the phone as the same has some of my bank details and some passwords etc. The boy didnÂ’t bother about it and left me with managing the reset , where I had to put the SIM again and then operate to reset. There goes the phone with absolute darkness on the display and I donÂ’t even know whether this is reset. As you read now, the phone is still in darkness mode and I have no idea whether this is reset or is dead forever.
I am now left with no option than live with this handiocapped phone which makes people rethink what a phone can do?
I wish the CEOs of Samsung look into the nitty-gritty of how this phone is and a phone of this standard and grace is never expected to cause problem in the first two months. I uncderstand if the repair is to be done after one year of usage. Now, this is worse than a murder.
I am now back again with my good old I Phone. Waiting for the damn Samsung to be given to the service centre for a surgery.
Skidd, 30 May 2016Samsung s7 i have black lines going across the screen does any one know what it is and how to ... moreIs your phone an s7edge? According to the sales rep of Globe telecom, where i bought my phone, the common issue with the new s7edge is the flickering of the screen. Usually when you change brightness. They replace the units sold as long as it is within the replacement period
Is it normal for an s7 to last only 15 hours with wifi on but minimal activity? Or should i have my phone replaced?
Anonymous, 31 May 2016I'm not Samsung fan but if you want 5.5 inch screen why you've not bought S7 Edge?Like s6 and s6 edge, i thought for s7 and s7 edge they should have kept screen size of 5.5.
hey i have been using this device with the exynos 8890 variant. Firstly i am highly satisfied with the purchase of this phone performance wise. I stil have reservation for its costing, Though i purchased at 46k quite lower than Indian market price in one of the local shop. It should be priced around 42k for 32gig variant and 48k for 64gig variant. Camera is one of the best in the smartphone till date. I have been having no heating issues no lagging issues. For better function install apps in phone memory only. Samsung should drop its price for increasing its selling.
Cons- 1. Instead of hybrid dual sim two sim slot with memory card would have been one of the hits in this device.
2. More pixels on the front cam.
3. It should be 5.5inch.
May be Samsung had plans on there next flagship phone with all this features.
But this phone seriously miss this comparing to the phone available in the market.
