Sam007m, 14 May 2017And what about the gray line issue??? Only with the s7 edge??? I am gonna buy the phone tomorrowI've never heard of that issue. That seems to be much more uncommon than the vertical pink line issue.

Joseph, 14 May 2017What are the pros and cons... How about the battery life... I'm a heavy userDisplay, it has a high pixel density which provides a decent quality the colors are good but over saturated which makes it sometimes unpleasant to the eyes.
Performance is flagship you might face some slow down but not that worse.
Speakers is a one mono at the bottom, volume is above average, con you might block it with your hand especially when you use it in landscape mode "" i don't like that speaker position""
Camera, the s7 was one of the best smartphone cameras in 2016, auto focus super fast, dynamic range is very good, colors over saturated, overexposed ""always over bright""
image stabilization is average.
Design is taste, buy a case and screen protector it is very slippery and sensitive.
mischa, 13 May 2017Only the S7 edge has the vertical pink line display issue, not the S7.And what about the gray line issue???

Joseph, 14 May 2017What are the pros and cons... How about the battery life... I'm a heavy userMy battery will last two days and still has 30 % left with low usage (some internetting, a few phonecalls and taking some pictures)
At normal to more intensive use the battery is always good for a at least whole day or a bit more
With realy heavy use I will need take a powerbank with me (like shooting video's and take lots and lots of pictures) (when you go visit the zoo or something).
I think the battery life is one of the strong points of the S7. Before this one I had a Sony z5 compact, wich would never ever last two days, only maybe if I didn't use it at all...
Joseph, 14 May 2017What are the pros and cons... How about the battery life... I'm a heavy userS7 is better than most smartphones released so far this year. The pro is that you're getting for the most part essentially current flagship specs for a much cheaper price. The only con I can think of is that the phone is fragile. One single drop can easily shatter its glass screen and body and repair will cost you upwards of 200 dollars. S7 is a better choice than the iPhone 7, Google Pixel, LG G6, Huawei P10 and Sony Xperia XZs. It's more advanced yet cheaper than all of them.
GS7 (2016), 14 May 2017Yes. Still A Beast Device. What are the pros and cons... How about the battery life... I'm a heavy user
Joseph, 14 May 2017Is this phone still worth to buy?Yes. Still A Beast Device.
But why the price of galaxy s7 is still not coming down after the launch of s8 also
it's still of 43400
I haven't realized until now that the S7 page has more hits than the S7 edge page here in GSMArena. The difference is like 3 million. I thought the S7 edge was more popular.
Trever, 13 May 2017Right bro, I just updated my XZ to nougat 7.1.1 couple of weeks back and it's butter smooth.I received a 200mb update yesterday on my Sony Xperia x, today i had 7 hours and 15 minutes SOT between gaming clash of clans, boom beach, web browsing, YouTube.
Nos, 12 May 2017Can't sync S7 with kies. Anybody have same problem ?Must use Samsung's Smart Switch
I have seen in some forums that the s7 edge has weird display issues such as gray and pink lines showing up suddenly
I am planning to buy a S7
I wanted to know if that display issue occurs only in s7 edge
or also in s7
Or should I go fo HTC 10

It's normal for battery to drain quickly after a major update because of many background processes during this time. The phone is still learning your usage pattern. Give it a week or two and the battery drain will stabilize.
Anonymous, 09 May 2017Battery life is worse with Nougat 7.0 they say ???? :((((((yes and no, i update my phone a week ago (S7 Exynos version) and i noticed at the beginning a big drop in battery life but lately it's been getting better. It gets through a day so it's enough for me but i can say that except the resolution change option and some new tweaks including a new camera interface you're not missing anything special. You can update yourself and see because the update is very stable, had 0 problems with it but you can also wait for a new version to be more safe because you're not missing anything special.
