Barnslow, 16 Jun 2021I want to go for s7 please users is it fast in internet or worth buying? I have 45k and thats ... moredon't buy ... SoC (14nm) outdated and not worth : overheat a lot and power hungry (fast battery draining) (i owned this device in the past)
go for poco x3 or oneplus nord n10 ... modern chipset (8nm), fast processor and power efficient !
I want to go for s7 please users is it fast in internet or worth buying? I have 45k and thats the price i was told in lagos.
Dropped it last week and the screen simply stopped working, no damage on the outside though. Now I had to order an used iPhone 7 for cheap, hope it will suffice for now. RIP ;_; you will be missed S7

Hi all!
I bought Samsung S7 in 2018 and it stills works fine! The only issue I have is the screen (same problem as somebody mentioned earlier) - 3/4 of the screen is transparent grey colour. I took it to the repair shop and the guy said I need to replace the screen at £120. What do you guys think - is it worth replacing the screen or invest this money in a new phone? I didn't really plan to buy a new phone but if I have to, my budget is about £400. Could you please recommend something in this price range?
jvstLaggin, 17 May 2021I have my s7 for a year and a half now but it's been in use since 2016 by my parents, abo... moreThe problem is that as I have searched all over internet I did not found anyone who fixed this issue by replacing display, on the other hand I found used one for sale with same issue and seller described that it is something overheated on motherboard then I asked her more about it and she said she thrown the phone at 3 services, 2 of them wanted to replace screen and 3rd tested it for a week and said its a motherboard.
It's got warmer last days and mine works fine but don't know for how long.
For the information also, this is all about G930F from EU, PL and I've stopped updating it at latest Nougat update due to possible planned obsolescence.
Think I'll go for S20FE or S21FE this is a bit too large but S10 is too expensive and hardly available new one.
However if I were sure that it is just the display faulty I would gladly replace it and use S7 for 2 - 3 more years.
jvstLaggin, 17 May 2021I have my s7 for a year and a half now but it's been in use since 2016 by my parents, abo... moreI hae two of these and since always used with the now unfortunately discontinued Lifeproof protective casing they are immaculate, even tho I've been dropping them from meter high places seeing it (wich one was it?) rolling down a stone stairway and occasional drops directly on the screen. I'm absolutely convinced phones should not be updated because of the planned obsolence that killed my note one. This is how owning Samsungs is actually. They resemble mac computers in durability if treated with respect. I look forward to not having to spend anything on a new phone for at least four years. I use them a lot like everybody else. When obsolete I hope to use them as servers for testpurposes/ web sollution projects or extra phones/ childs phone. Thank you Samsung!

I have mine and it's still going strong nice camera,no stupid notch and very crispy screen, very easy to grab and premium build, its still a good phone.
Aleksander, 01 May 2021Love this phone but unfortunately mine has issue of screen flickering bottom 2/3 when I leave ... moreI replaced my S7 with an S10+. If S10+ is to big for you, I recomand S10e. Both are very good phones, dependable cameras, ok battery, good pergormance, micro sd, IP68
Love this phone but unfortunately mine has issue of screen flickering bottom 2/3 when I leave it in temperature of 15 (or less) celsius degrees.
I'm not sure if it's screen or motherboard issue and they are asking 130€ for screen or 300 for motherboard - that's what I paid for the whole brand new phone 3 years ago. It is not even slightly damaged, just small scratches.
No idea with what to replace it, I need water resistance, micro SD slot and camera with OIS atleast and it should be in similar size, any ideas?
Like the S7, but mine has very weak signal strength . My S8 always has about 2 more bars then my S7 sitting in the same spot. Gave the S7 to my wife, she doesn't need a phone very much.
