fruitcake, 18 Jun 2016Samsung should have thought about the durability of the Edge Screens as more are getting broke... moreYeh spot on about the screen on the edge.I have just come from a galaxy note 3.That was a great phone, and the s7 edge is great also.Yep i am worried about dropping this phone. No case...apart from an otterbox..and i dont know if that protects the edge portion of screen. Can't see a tempered glass protector saving it either.I had one put on then had it removed as made edge and screen unusable. So it is held ever so carefully, first phone i have had to do with.End plan....dont be a clumsy child and drop and break.Maybe get insurance at telco.Mine is insured through home and contents.I was about to buy note edge, but got this instead.Great phone.Makes wifes iphone 6+ look pretty ordinary.
this fon like a beast to me..evrything seems perfect for my daily used..sexy and elegance
yes same price LG G5 is much better device as compair device to this one.s7 edge is too delicated device.
Big Daddy, 18 Jun 2016That is sad bro. What about insurance? In my country we dont have any kind of insurance or even a warranty.
Here this phone cost more than a year salary by the way.
dropped mine from knee height on day two, glass and digitizer gone... it's very fragile to say the least.
speaker quality is good louder of this phone or not?
ia it louder than note 5?
I have purchased Samsung galaxy s7 edge few months ago which is still under warranty but the issue is even though the phone is water resist as claimed by company its not totally or say not at all water resist phone, i used it in humid atmosphere for a while say about 30min water got inside the camera and camera failed to open then i gave the phone to Samsung authorized service station they repaired and replaced some part and confirmed that water got inside and promise after service that this will not happen again but after only 7 days of use again the water got inside the camera , i emailed company about the issue the company replied that physical damage is not included in company warranty policy ( where as i have never tempered or even dropped the phone ) but there was no physical damage and also denied about the claim or say warranty for water inside camera, then why are they fooling people saying its a water resist phone i requested refund or replacement just 2 months old phone but company totally ignored, so those who are reading this post rather seeing the mobile phone in water at showroom of Samsung please don't believe , i have suffered but i would request everyone not to get fooled by samsungs fake commitment about water resistance. i have suffered not once but twice, and also Samsung service station in kalyan india don't have back up phone to give and also the service engg. is also very harsh. i have twitted and also posted on Samsung facebook s7 edge site.
Guys, overall great phone....but in case display broken it will cost u 14000 bugs to get new one.....tamper glass costs 900 which is of no use as it doest get stick to middle f screen bcoz of 2 side edge screen....if u r using ur phone only on bed its a great buy
I don't like a seald design. I like a phone that has a user replaceble battery. I owned a sealed phone and till this day I hate the concept. I'll go toward the s8 if it has the user replaceble battery but other than that, no. I'll be good with other products.
Buying this phone as my camera phone and X Performance as for my daily driver(browsing, messaging, watching youtube videos etc.)
Mbxrw, 18 Jun 2016I barely drop it on the 2nd day after I bought it...It cracked at the bottom, cracked again on... moreAnd you expect sombody to belive you.You have all that phones, but right now you are happy perhaps with an old iphone...
I never suggest to buy this phone, many complaints about the screen. I bought this phone about 2 months back, now it start showing some puple and green color lines on the screen. I took it to Samsung in my city Kampala and they refused to replace and suggest to change the screen and for screen they will charge 490 USD. Now i have nothing to do.... So please never buy this phone....
Leo Thanzi, 15 Jun 2016Victor,I think u knew better about mate 8....I have some questions....can u help to answer??? ... moreNo probs with it, it even had a new update and everything is smooth and nice, battery amazing
Samsung should have thought about the durability of the Edge Screens as more are getting broken,Edge screens might make your phone stand out more, but now your so worried of ever dropping you phone,Stronger glass needs to be made by Samsung or even included a tempered glass in the phone package to help buyers out,how can the S7 Active screen never get broken in the drop test but the S7 Edge get broken straight away, just proofs Samsung can never tested the S7 Edge Glass durability when they were produced,Just think if the Note 7 screens glass is just the same and not strong enough to withstand being dropped,Samsung will be in loads of trouble
