That's a whopping 68% more power endurance!
LG G5's video playback = 10:21;
S7 Edge video playback = 20:08. 94% more than the G5.
LG G5's web browsing = 7:35;
S7 Edge web browsing = 13:32. 78% more than the G5.
Even the G5's camera is questioned as it has no 1080p @ 60fps, while for slow motion you get 720p @ 120fps video recording capabilities. S7 Edge does 60fps and 250fps slow motion video recording.
I'm all about removable battery. I have accumulated 6 regular 3200mAh ones for my Note 3, two 5000mAh extended batteries and currently using a 10000mAh. I NEVER have to even switch to a battery during the day, even with very heavy use of up to 24 hours. But I can't deny the S7 has a decent battery capacity.
itumi, 20 May 2016Go for A9 pro 2016 with 5000mAh battery. It is better than this 3600mAh battery phone.Itumi, everytime you go outside, you can get rucksack with a car battery and you will have power for 1 or 2 months I think.
itumi, 20 May 2016Power bank is bigger and heavier than extra battery.Yes, the are hevier and bigger and have 10 000 mAh vs your 2800mAh. You can consider how many times I will charge my phone with only one power bank.
itumi, 20 May 2016Carrying a battery bank to charge your non-removable S7 Edge battery is even worst.Dude, be happy with your LG G5. It is very good phone. No one care about your opinion. As you can see S7 Edge is preferred for most people. I like S7 EDGE, you like G5 someone like HTC 10. Why you impose your opinion? What you think about water proof? What are you doing when you drop your phone in water?

itumi, 20 May 2016Now you sounds like an S6 user.First, where I live 95% of time I'm where I can charge my phone, but this is unnecessarily.
My phone have 24h and sometimes 25-26h battery life.
I can not think of a situation where I can not charge my phone. If I go on a vacation, I do not go in the desert :), and if sometimes happened I'm going to the mountains I can always get poverbank like you, carring extra batteries.

2. I will never hide my gorgeous looking glass phone under any plastick cover. I dont think metal unibody (you can see HTC legend) is somethink new and WOW looking.
3. 8MP or 5MP front facing camera, are you profecional photographer?
4. Dude, I will die if my phone didn't have infrared :). How many times you need infrared on the go?
5. USB type C is better than old one, but all my chargers in car, at office , at village are old. Then which one is better? I don't wish to buy new chargers.
6. With FM radio is better :(
ijaz.ali, 20 May 2016Naah, I don't like any other company smartphones but Samsung.Go for A9 pro 2016 with 5000mAh battery. It is better than this 3600mAh battery phone.
Yaroslavov, 20 May 2016I will switch to ultra power save mode and will have a battery for 4 more days.Now you sounds like an S6 user.
The.Neighbor, 20 May 2016I wonder what LG G5 what battery can "can have 5,600mAh or more battery juice". I don't think ... more5,600mAh battery is the two batteries of 2800mAh. And if I have three batteries that I can interchange in less time it would be a total of 8,400 vs S7 Edge 3600mAh that you need to charge in two hours when battery gets low. What if you are on a travel and cannot find an electric outlet to plug your charger? Or even you find one, you wouldn't stay there for two hours to get a fully charge battery. Where LG G5 can have full charge fresh battery within 90 seconds. Goodbye S7 Edge good for nothing!

itumi, 20 May 2016LG G5 can have 5,600mAh or more battery juice with its removable battery vs non removable 3600... moreI think this person is a g5 user, i dont have any of these device and i think its imposiblle that i would have one of any these device, but im reviewing and watching lot of videos in comparison test of them the g5,htc10,s7 edge,z5, and most of all people think that the s7 edge is the superior and bestbuy phone on the list, and if i choose one would defienietly choose the s7 edge but im sure all of them are are a great phone compare to my dinosour era phone. I wish i have a lot of money to purchase any one of these device to replace my defective dino era phone. Sorry if my english are not that good. Btw if thats ur opinion i dont want to argue with u either.
While some people are coming here comparing the S7 Edge to less efficient devices like the G5, here's an interesting chart of the S7 Edge I've tabulated for 7 cycles. This is after over a month of use, and I have only started tabulating last week to find out if the upcoming Note 6 will stand to be my next upgrade since it is likely to have very similar battery specs and consumption: http://flic.kr/p/GUHZgE
Averaging 15.5 hours from unplugging in the morning till coming home, regular users can expect to consume some 70% of the battery, with some 5 hours of Screen On Time (SOT), with casual LESS graphic intense games and some YouTube watching, and just below 1GB worth of data used with mostly through wifi. This is of course not using it as a hotspot, or very heavy graphic games.
Taking a calculated projection till you completely deplete the battery, it can reach almost 24 hours. If you calculate only using 80% of the battery, you can have some 19 hours of battery standby without totally going deep discharging (that's bad for the battery). It is also possible to get 8 to 10 hours SOT if you will going use it going to less than 20% of the battery. But hey, you can still go Ultra Power Saving mode if you need.
I personally sometimes go over 4GB and use my device as a wifi hotspot, and I have to carry a power pack or charger to cope, if I was to just use the S7 Edge with its sealed battery. I'm still in favor with a removable battery system because you can just swap the battery even within a minute.

I don't think Zerolemon has made one yet. Regardless of it having removable battery, G5 has less efficient battery stamina per charge.
ijaz.ali, 19 May 2016man that's a lot of waiting time, I can't live without a flagship smartphone until that.Go for LG G5, it is better.
