itumi, 21 May 2016It is too expensive for its features. Only 3600 mAh battery. Other phones have 4000 to 5000 m... moreDon't be fooled by how big other phones battery are. The reason they provide big batteries because they don't have enough resources for R&D in maximizing power consumption... basically you'll be getting the same amount of screen time with that much power
Yes S7 & S7 edge have 2 different camera modules.

I have been reading most of the comments since the first day of realizing this s7 edge. I was never the fan of Samsung but I could not hold me against s7 edge. I bought s7 edge and I found that this is the phone that I love now. Its a awesome phone with beautiful design and the great performance. I think battery life is great too. No one has made such a nice phone yet other than s7 edge. So do not worry guys just buy and enjogy the beauty and its awesome performance. Just believe , this is only the phone that exist in the market which has no competitors. Iphone 6s or iphone 7, 8 9 is nothing to s7 edge.
Inserted micro sd on my s7 but the memory card notification keep popping up on my phone everytime I restarting my phone. How to remove the notification?
Praashant šhá, 21 May 2016Lol samsung galaxy s7 edge is new device ...google must give update for s7 edge Android n
Speaking to Google at the Android team's office hours event, we learned that Android N's new seamless update feature, borrowed from Chrome OS, will not be introduced on any current Nexus devices. While the benefits of seamless updates' usage of dual system partitions to allow updates to the OS proceed in the background are substantial, they're also a bit of a technical bear to put on existing smartphones. Implementing seamless updates on the Nexus 5X or 6P, for example, would require repartitioning the entire phone, and wouldn't be possible for an end user to complete without hooking the phone up to a computer, allegedly - it would just be a pain, in short. While references to seamless updates have been found in the latest N developer preview, it was confirmed to us that these have no bearing on existing devices getting seamless updates.
As such, it's exceedingly unlikely we'll see seamless updates implemented on any existing Android devices by any manufacturer, and instead that we'll only see it on new hardware running N or above out of the box going forward. For example, on new Nexus devices later this year.
Seamless updates borrows an update method from Chrome OS in which two system partitions live on the device at any one time. While one partition is in use by the phone at any one time, the other is free to be updated by the system, so an OS update can be downloaded and installed completely in the background, at which point the user reboots the device and the update will feel little slower than, say, a hard reboot.
I don't know why people here are against Samsung, I used s6 edge+ for 7 months and no problem at all, I was satisfied with performance and battery.
I would have continued using it If someone hadn't stolen it from me.
Jude, 21 May 2016Give your opinion after 6 months usage. Because it will lagy and hang randomly. This is the ch... moreThat's why I think, iPh sales keep going down! lol I have Note 4 for almost 1.5 years with no problem.
itumi, 21 May 2016I'm sorry but I think you replied on the wrong username. Please be polite.Right... You skipped the fact you have NEVER posted in the G5 opinions, but here you are commenting widely on the S7 Edge page raising so many faults of the S7 Edge.
You just have too much pride to even accept that the S7 Edge has the best combination of features and performance. It beats everything else right now, even your supposed G5.
You keep criticizing the S7 Edge with banter of fingerprint magnet, has less battery than midrange phones, etc. You don't own the G5, nor the Note.5, and probably not even the S6 Edge plus you apparently "lost". Even those have lesser batteries, and are fingerprint magnets.
Pretending to be someone else to post false usage comments to ease your pride isn't polite, Mr. T.
And to everyone, it remains that the S7 Edge has 4 key improvements from the last generation of Galaxy Note and S series:
*Improved bumped up battery, at 20% more
*Even better camera, especially on low light
*Water-resistance, even no flaps to cover ports
*Memory expansion, killer choice to put 200GB more
It's the first time that an S series has ever beaten a Note series.
I was wondering why my s7edge battery last for 24 hours only on standby time. Is that normal pls help me.
i really like this phone and i want to own it (instead of my current iphone 6s ) which is quite boring ...but non removable battery us a non go to me i donot care about the back beeing plastic rubber metal glass personally i think all these can be made to be removable ...removable battery...... removable battery samsung please
