So watching 16:9 videos u will get black bars on the left and right as the ratio is ultra wide screen vs the normal widescreen. But u do have a toggle to make it fullscreen. So u lose come image real estate on top n bottom when full screen but just a bit as the image is stretched out. Future content is going ultra wide screen 18 or 18.5 so this is why samsung is doing this. But holding it in one hand and texting is absolutely fine even for the s8+. Even iphone 8 n next lg is following this ratio so it looks to be a trend. U will know if its a phone from 2017 onwards by the tall screen lol

if you're living in a community which use IOS, you may want to consider using ip7 as its integration between each other within the same environment is great.
if you're type of person who like to customize your phone easily, then go for S8 or any other android phones.

Failed Design, if you ask me. The fact that it has a borderless screen means that the overlapping screen on the edges will often be the point of impact if it falls to the ground - and that obviously makes the phones very susceptible for broken screens....
Samsung released a statement that they strongly advise to use a protective cover for the S8+... so, yeah, what's the advantage of an extremely nice-looking design if you have to constantly hide it under a protective cover, because it's simply to unstable...

some says wireless charging is bad for your battery life...but it's not even proven, so yes, i'm gonna stick with the wireless charger...sooner or later, the other manufacturer will also follow this wireless charging trend.

i bought brand new samsung galaxy s8 plus phone from check mark maldives mobile shop... after about three weeks , one day after charging i could not switch on my phone.. i brought it to a tech shop. they told its motherboard issue and cant fix it. i already lost 1000 dollar within 3 weeks
