What is the point in having S-Series and Note series when they will the same as size ??
No FM radio?
No Galileo GPS?
No dedicated SD-slot for DUOS model?
At least USB-C is finally here. But why bigger than 5.5"??????
m4l2iju4n4, 15 Feb 2017your right there is no reason to upgrade unless the s8 had 6gigs of ram. I'd rather wait and s... moreThe specification of the phone are just rumours, not the official finished product... it might have 6Gb or maybe 8Gb we never know..
Please do the math gsmarena. A screen dimension of 1440x2960 at 5.8" is just as wide as the s7 screen. That means your s8 width estimate of 72.2 is too wide in comparison to 69.6 of the s7. Add the fact that s8 will have an edge style screen will make the actual figure even thinner than 69.
It will be DOA because of "Nokia 8" if they didn't do something about the stupid RAM, Battery & The Camera which are the same as the S7 which is ridiculous!!
Damjan, 14 Feb 2017I own a Galaxy S7. It's a great phone so far. S8 will be no big difference even though I tho... moreyour right there is no reason to upgrade unless the s8 had 6gigs of ram. I'd rather wait and see what the g6 is going to be or the next one plus phone.i have the s7edge im not gonna upgrade to get a worse battery and no change in the ram just to have a bigger screen and an Irish scanner not worth it
Vinny, 15 Feb 2017What this site is suggesting for size of phone and display is impossible, how can the display ... moreScreen size is measured diagonally and phone dimension is measured vertically and horizontally
What this site is suggesting for size of phone and display is impossible, how can the display be 5.8in if the size is only 5.52in, according to the picture the top and bottom of the phone are not curved so the display cant go beyond the size and would actually be more like 4.8in display size.

Anonymous, 13 Feb 2017Thank you for understanding this, I only have 8gb of ram in my computeroom and why waste space... moreYou have to realize that these phones need to be capable of playing 4k 3d 360 videos, while also using an accelerator to track head movements. As well as upload and download constant amounts of large data, on both 4g and advanced wifi, keep track of gps data, update numerous apps that continuously run in the background, handle an advanced and precise touchscreen interface, be able to take stunning pictures seconds after turning on the camera, record high definition video, run apps like snapchat that utilize face detection and on the fly video effects, interface with constant devices such as bluetooth headsets or fitness trackers, and still work as phone and texting devices which utilizes a whole different form of wireless called GSM. Also unlike computers, phones nowadays rarely get rebooted to clear out ram. So yes obviously on more basic usage, 8gb would be more than enough. But this phone was not designed for basic usage. This is the most advanced phone ever to be made. If they do not put enough ram, the phones could crash or slow, or become out of date in months because they would not be able to handle the newest app demand. If you put all of the features and devices of this phone onto your computer with only 8gb, it would have issues. But if your computer is only used for web browsing, youtube, and Word. It's not a fair comparison at all.

S8 will be no big difference even though I thought it would be because of the Note 7 scandal.
But as far I see the specs here, there is no significant difference in the two devices. Anyway let's wait for the official announcement.
