Anonymous, 15 Feb 2021A battery replacement would be economically better.U kidding, right? The replaced one has 6 months or so warranty, and it won't last that long as the original one. Plus the android 8's been since 2017, in 2023 it will lose support for GS. (Google services). Amazing phone, but it's been already 4 years since it came out...

Yesterday I went for a walk outside. The phone's battery had like 20 percent or so. It was cold, negative temperatures outside. The battery's temperature was below 15 degrees C. The moment I looked away for a second, the phone threw shade at me by immediately shutting down and not giving any signal when I plugged in. Few minutes later it did boot up at 0 percent. I activated power save mode with cpu limiter on. Thankfully, it didn't shut down. It won't blackout anymore but it runs like S**T now!
Well, after more than 3 years, what am I expecting afterall? Thank god I downgraded to android 8, at android 9 it was unusable. Looking for alternatives, but there are way too scarce, and way too compromised...
S10 lite- one year old, 1080p only, 128gb only
A71- 8gb variant is rare in my country
A51- cr*pa** exynos
S20 FE- best option, 1080p only but 120hz. What a pity it suffers from screen ghosting and unresponsive touchscreen.
S8 and Note 8 was literarly the best generation, before the "all screen, notch" era.
Someone robbed my phone. I will miss you old friend. Camera not bad, a litle oudated, otherwise, light , beautiful display that can compete with ay other these days, great battery life, light for running and active folks and not fuckinG HUGE like every other display out there
Sd card slot
I mean, what a phone SHOULD be

A replacement would be good. If you do it yourself, be aware that the factory adhesive strips need alot of heating to pry open. You also need isopropanol alcohol to soak the bottom of the battery. After that you can lift it with something dull.
Anonymous, 19 Jan 2021Hey, is it a good idea to buy an S8 now?Go for it..u won't regret. It has premium up todate looks it's fast, no lag, good camera, and also very good battery life. I love my s8 and am proud to use it. In fact i keep it more than use as i have s7 edge so until it gives up then i use my s8

You should see a massive difference in performance and for that price I'd say the pros outweigh the cons.
Faxa 98, 28 Dec 2020What is the difference between a Korean version of galaxy in simple words it is called copy/fake.
dont buy.
they are selling these fake ones by saying it is korean version.
does replacing the s8 battery improve battery life drastically? I've had mine since day 1 but the battery life is terrible now, should I replace it for 40 dollars?

A) I do enjoy what I have.
B) I disputed what was implied in a post and argued that it was misleading. Don't see a problem with that. OK, one can have issue with tone but I've already addressed that. Time to move on....

So far 3 year i used Samsung Galaxy S8
My opinion is
1. S8 has a low battery capacity :( even though S8 has wireless charging & fast charging
2. Bezel- less the bezel is very thin
3. Even though it only has 1 camera the results are still pretty good in 2020
4.I think the s8 and Note 8 have a strange fingerprint location because if I want to use it I always accidentally touch the camera
5.Good news this phone is water and dust resistant
6.Bixby
7. With $238 (ebay) you can only get 4GB Ram , while Samsung Note 8 have 6GB Ram
8.Beautiful design i love itttt
9.Super-Amoled Screen , 5,8 Inch Full HD
10.Equipped with fingerprint and iris scanner
11.Also eqipped with NFC
Yea i guess that's all i'm still trying s20 i'm gonna review it
