Anonymous, 16 Aug 2017I got my S8 a few days ago and today I saw there is scratches on the screen. I didnt put it wi... moreHad mine since launch, have a couple of micro scratches on the back, the fingerprint scanner seems to scratch the easiest BUT my screen is completely scratch free.
I did not put the phone into a case for the first month or so but after dropping the phone a couple of times common sense took over and I bought a folio case. I do take it off when in the house or sitting at desk or table for long periods of time.
I got my S8 a few days ago and today I saw there is scratches on the screen. I didnt put it with the same place with keys or coins but as I am reading comments on forums it has a super sensitive screen. Does anyone has the same problem?
neonled, 16 Aug 2017wait!!! i don't see any major differences between s7 and s8. i sell phones every day. isn't ... morecomparing 8890 with 8895...there is some changes but its unfair to campare between mi6 and s7.
Anonymous, 16 Aug 2017Thanks for proving my point earlier. Go educate yourself. This comment was for neonled.
neonled, 16 Aug 2017wait!!! i don't see any major differences between s7 and s8. i sell phones every day. isn't ... moreYou don't see a difference in old technology to new tech. So I can compare next year's Samsung to this year's Xiaomi and call it fare. What are you on!!!!
Anonymous, 16 Aug 2017Thanks for proving my point earlier. Go educate yourself.Sorry wrong person

the battery of samsung previous version is a huge dissapointment. once bitten twice shy.
Noname, 16 Aug 2017Lol, who says it, Andy?there is no need to saying. i have my user experience and i have noticed these small things.
.Andy., 16 Aug 2017dude....naver compare a chinese flagships with this one...s8 is far better than other flagship... morei have s7 , xiaomi mi6 . 8 can feel the power with the 2 devices. they are awesome. s7 cant beat mi6 neither xiaomi can
Marko, 16 Aug 2017Lol, a gold worth comment. Xiaomi has also flagship phone :D Dude, don't try to look too smart.im dont trying dude.
i know they have flagships.
Marko, 16 Aug 2017Or they have already used this brand and are not satisfied. Including me.By using this brand do you mean an older device. Are you really trying to compare older Samsung technology to this year's tech? I could say the same about ever brand that makes smartphones and use their older devices as an example without using there latest flagship but then that would not be fair now would it.
Marko, 16 Aug 2017Or they have already used this brand and are not satisfied. Including me.I don't believe that for a second otherwise you wouldn't be on this comment section, you would be commenting on your device. Also if your not happy with the purchase I'm sure you would of returned the device withing the 15 day return policy that most service providers provide.
Pros: fast, great screen, a lot of space, great camera, much better batery life compared to my previos phone (S5), much better pics in low light conditions...
Cons: Gorilla Glass 5? Microscratches after a week. I had to put a great looking phone (really incredible design) into a case and with a screen protector, making it look like a brick.
4:3 picture format if you want to take pics with 12MPix. And watching a 4:3 pics on a 18:9 screen means that the pic is on half of the screen. Also, watching it on a 16:9 TV still means that you get black vertical lines. Why Samsung, why?
And if you set the camera to take a 16:9 photos, it means that it crops part of the 4:3 picture, resulting in lower resolution (I think it was 9MP). Stupid...
This chat is a mess. You all talk about drawbacks and things that arent perfect. Well heres the thing. Any kind od tech devoce will NEVER BE PERFECT. Deal with it. You take somewhere and you give somewhere. Thats how it works. And the amount of haters is astounding. And about the battery, I get through my day with 40% left so I spare my battery by charrging it only to 80%. Abd it works. And I have a mophie wireless charging case (the charge force or sth like that) which has 3000mah. Want 4000 mah? Not with current battery technology, unless you want a hole in your pocket (referong to note 7 with unreasonable energy density) and a 200g smartphone. Just turn on the mid battery saver and turn of aod. With battery save on I get a geekbench score of 5582. Thats better than s7 without battery saver. So stop complaining. I am more frustrated by back fungerprint scanner and iris scanner not working through my photo sensitive glasses. Reviews got everything right and don't complain so much. Going from s6 to s8 is a huge leap forward for me as it is for an s7 user. It has around 10-15%better battery life than s7 and on par with S7 edge. It's not all about battery size. It's about efficency. Put a 5nm chip (border where we are not at mercy of quantum effects) in there you get around 50% more efficiency and 25% more power for the same architecture. Just go open minded about this. And yes the exynos model is stronger than Snapdragon 835. Considerably.
