Hello, I got a T849 this yeat used and there was no GSM calling possible, only texting (SMS). If you go to a page like xda-developers.com you will find how you can make your T849 a P1000 and enable calling. I also got Anroid Gingerbread 2...

UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS POSTING: It is actually Samsung that disabled the GSM calling capabilities on that Tablet. Any Tablet that is designed exclusivly for AT&T OR T-Mobile will have call feature disabled (either because of APPLE or in order...
