If you still remember your Username pick option 1, if not option 2. You must remember what name did you put your Google account if ever you pick option 2. just follow instructions (you might need another e-mail account).
Please dont use email lock or password lock as a screen-unlock mechanism if you cannot remember your pasword.
if everything else fails use "Clockworkmod" just type clockworkmod for samsung galaxy w in google search

sorry to say having trouble with it after 3 months was repaired but now the letters don't stay in place when typing text so back for repair

Galaxy S Duos has better RAM, internal memory and comes in as ICS.
Galaxy W has better CPU (this is the best advantage of this phone in its class), better Graphics processor, better pixel density and if you download Cyanogenmod 9 or 10 its is upgradable to ICS and Jellybean.
Its up to you though. If you want a faster phone for smoother gaming then Galaxy W is the phone you need. But if you want a phone that could run multiple apps and widgets at the same time then buy Galaxy S Duos.

Use USB to Mini USB cable (my phone come with the cable).
Option 2
Use Kies Air via Wifi (Preloaded apps) if ur computer come with wifi.
You have the option to back up, load music, video, photo, update firmware in Kies.
