> In Rs.7200 u are getting all these things in galaxy y. It is the best phone.
OS- Android os 2.3.6
Internal memory- 180mb
CPU- 833 MHz ARMv6
GPU- Broadcom Videocore IV
> I am using this phone since 3 months.
You can easily play HD games, but u have to update your phone to gingerbread 2.3.6 and then root your phone. After rooting install these software's:-
Chainfire 3D Pro,
Android Speed Booster,
Antutu CPU Master.
And now your phone turns into a gaming phone...
This mobile is realy waste.pixel density very very low ~133ppi. So resolution waste.battery drains fastly and then lot of apps not supporting due to low resolution...my opinion go for samsung wave young.it was a budget and gr8 mobiles
Anonymous, 27 Jan 2012which better galaxy y or galaxy mini?hmm I prefer Galaxy mini
My phone's battery lasts up to 3 days.. Some help.
First go to settings, accounts & sync, make sure you do not check/on the background data..
Second go to settings again, applications, running services then click one by one then stop.. (if you can do it atleast 3x a day, do it to minimize your battery consumption)
Lastly is to go to task manager, at the upper part choose active app then end all.
HOPE I HELPED! :)

hyura, 15 Mar 2012what are expecting for 100 dollar phone?
I think its the best for a branded cheap smartphonevery true, it's actually a very capable phone, especially compared to anything close to this pricepoint.
generally what you're going to find for $100 that's comparable is something like the HTC Wildfire S, a simple Gingerbread phone with overall lesser specs (600 Mhz CPU, 3.2" screen, less internal memory, and similar battery). so if you can, may want to spend a few bucks more and enjoy a slightly faster phone with bigger screen and memory to do stuff.
so it's not the Galaxy SII. so what? if you want that, go ahead and spend 3.5 - 5x the price of this. sure it's nice, but gotta balance cost vs benefit for your particular use.
mac6010, 15 Mar 2012hey guys, which is the good one HTC explorer or the samsung galaxy y? Plz rply me......I have both. Their pretty much the same. I think the Samsung Galaxy Y is much more easier to use. The HTC Explorer has little bit more apps than the other one but a bit complicated. Your choice
