Geo tagging means recording the GPS coordinates in a photo while taking that photo using a GPS enabled camera or mobile phone
This option will help to find out where the photo is taken and it can be located in maps Google map.
When you upload a Geo tagged photo to Google+ or Picasa, the location will be shown automatically.
You may also Geo-tag photos manually using softwares or online photo sharing sites like picasa.(i.e, you can manually set where the photo is taken)
Most of new generation phones and digital cameras with GPS also have the function to enable Geo-tagging while taking photo.
Samsung Galaxy Y has this feature.
to enable this feature in Galaxy Y, check the GPS option in camera settings (Also check "Use GPS satellites" option in "Location and security" settings.
If you want to see a model Geo-tagged photo in Picasa web, please visit the link below

> In reply to [deleted post]2MP to 5MP? Go to Samsung factory and tell that you want to implant Galaxy Ace's camera into your Galaxy Y.

Epic question, sir, very epic.

By the way, if you want to save battery, turn off bluetooth, wifi, gps and background sync/data when you don't need them, also turn the brightness and screen timeout down. Use task manager to kill unnecessary apps.

> In reply to rc @ 2011-11-28 11:25 from Xuam - click to readI am also faced the same memory card removal problem after upgrading to 2.3.6
Samsung Suggested to go service center and downgrade to 2.3.5
But i tried another SD card and there was no problem.
Then i formatted phone to factory settings and formatted the old memory card using computer and put it back to the phone.
Now the problem is solved without downgrading to 2.3.5 (I did this 5 day ago and never see the problem till now)
So try to format your SD card using computer and put it back. It will help
