That's what i always say
They made this with LED flash
BUT only 16GB storage
As far as I know when other company push their product to be like iphone, apple shows up by new version of iphone. Now here is two phone (also consider Acer android) that have gyro and all other stuff that iphone has. So soon we will hear about iphone 4S or iphone 5. less than one or two month later.
Anonymous, 07 Dec 2010the only thing it differs from galaxy s is an led flash and gingerbread os. well, i'm still st... moreThere is another thing that's different to the Galaxy S, and it's the thing that only 5 mobiles have it searching in the advanced section, from the 5 it's 3 Galaxy Tab, 1 iphone 4 and this Google Nexus S, maybe not very important, but I love it... Three-axis gyro sensor.
According to official spec on www.google.com/nexus it hasn't 720p (1024x720) video recording. It is only 720x480 with unspecified frame rate.
I would save my money for Samsung Orion (Google it up if not found here).
Not an Android Developer - but 16GB and no microSD card slot clearly depicts Gingerbread is designed to use the 16GB of memory for Application storage - quite similar to that of iOS.
Current device have 8 and 16GB of sdcard space but the apps do not get directly installed there - at most you can move them to the sdcard which eventually slows down 3D game performances.
This is a innovative move considering the new Gaming API introduced with Gingerbread.
the price for Galaxy is like $599 or so, i might as well get the Nexus S...
720p@30fps is absolutely possible. I have used the phone already and I set the HD Camcorder to 1280X720 myself. The reviewer on that site was WRONG. End of story.
SABVE, 07 Dec 2010who can really fill up 16gb...there is no need for a memory card slot option peopleYou are living in the past, man. My vivaz eats up a gigabyte in 15 minutes of video recording. A quality dvd rip movie- 2 gigs! With standards jumping up to full hd these days, i can see memory capabilities lagging behind actualy. I want to have a collection of hd movies and games in my phone one day- 160 gig would barely suffice for that, not 16 :P
Anonymous, 07 Dec 2010definitely an iphone 4 killer. . . . . exept for the 480x800 screen resolution!......oh come on, the fact it's slightly lower resolution is made up by the super amoled surely?!?!?!
no HSPA+? No SD card. Why all the android phones 1 step alway from perfection ?????
What is the difference:
definitely an iphone 4 killer. . . . . exept for the 480x800 screen resolution!......
What will happen to my credit card if someone steal my phone? what security protects NFC?
Take a look how does it compares with Nexus One and Galaxy S
Mahbod (Mercury700ir, 07 Dec 2010It is almost galaxy S without some UNNECESSARY (:D) features ( I have to poke the google with ... moreDude what are you talking about? Why are you making stuff up?
Do you know how many phones out there (aside SGS) has BT 3.0 so you can send your file on a higher rate? Almost None! at least you can use gyro in gaming and applications.
and why google didn't make a clear-cut tech geeky phone like nexus? Because the technology is not here at the moment. for the display, even samsung is stock at SAMOLED with this resolution. Dual-Core CPUs are not in the market and besides the CPU and GPU pack more punch than the requirement of every single application/game on the market.
But above all, NEXUS S is only a commnercial phone. It's the falgship of the Google VoIP and NFC technology and frankly, google doesn't care if it's not revolutionary. Because it's evolutionary!
