why such inferior and substandard device for indian market? I mean why can't they put super amoled screen for this phone? I didn't like the way samsung has done justice for this phone...common guys who would want to buy a phone with s-lcd...when already a better one is already available.:

Nice....! and silky mobile its greate. when be at launched my friends all guys waiting for this model.

SLCD and SAMOLED are equally good.

ASMOLED has better black and contrast colors while little bad at text quality.

SLCD is way better in terms of text reading.

both are good wrt to USAGE.

Why samsung is selling at 30,000 INR if I can easily but it @ 27,000 from various online store with super amoled screen.. indians are not fool who will buy at higher rate with s-lcd
.samsung sucks...actualy samsung is known for bad firmware upgradation history means no firmware upgrade..thats by they selling at higher price because its a google phone with upcoming firmware upgradation..once again samsung proved it they have cheap mentality...:(

it will release to full a price range of nexuses. Overall samsung knew the formula : high performance + android + big sreen(amoled)

This is already available in India for inr28k ($600)
Check out the link below..however for me that's not a value for money phone..when galaxy sl is available for 20k...y sulfur I pay extra 8k just for led flash and gingerbread(no samoled as well)...would go for sl..or wait for sgs 2011 or even sgs2..bad pricing Google..

This model is allready available from 1 mounth.
Is almost same with i9020 but not AMOLED.
Is not availlable JUST for India market, is availlable for severall countries: Poland, UK, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary......

I think that S-AMOLED display is one of the key features attracting customers. Without it Nexus S doesn't have much to attract customers (especially considering too high in my opinion price). Without S-AMOLED Nexus S becomes just one of the many plastic Android devices currently available on market. Fast phone on good hardware, but... all plastic body, no gorilla glass, no S-AMOLED, no FM radio. Too many compromises for such an expensive device. Don't you think so?
