but the i300 ain't that big anyway since it is smaller than a nokia 3510i.

i see that everyone keeps comparing this to the w800. the only advantages that the w800 has is the fm radio, smaller in size, lighter and 2mp camera but imo i think that the i300 is better. the i300 already has 3gb built in whilst with the w800 you can only hold up to either 1gb or 2gb (i can't mind) which will cost a lot. also i300 has a windows os allowing lots of applications and emulation allowing you to play playstation games , nintendo 64 games, game boy advance games, pc games etc. to finish the i300 has click wheel like ipod making it a perfect ipod phone. what do i care about 2mp as i think 1.3mp is very clear (especially samsungs cameras). i300 rules.

this phone is amazing the only thing is that there is no fm radio but hopefully samsung will bring out an fm radio headset compatible with this.

and i dont see how this is a w800 rip if its got 3gb of space
its a fricken ipod phone yo... and windows mobile, its basically a mini laptop... all its missing is wifi and it will be the perfect phone. ever.

This is something like iPod's scroll wheel! even this model starts with i***... basically with 3GB, it is a mini-thumbdrive that is already very small.. nice phone..

the rivals to all the new phones from samsung will be the new SE phones, the 240x320 screen resolution from samsung over the SE 176x220 might just settle the rivalry for samsung. BUT as an overall phone for functionality and quality nokia still lead the way, OK they are releasing very few (none handsets) but you have got to remember samsung are producing flash phones with amazing cameras - and very poor in the other areas- ie applications. the only true phone i am impressed with is the i-300. but the menu wont be have as sophisticated as a nokia. i feel samsung are using the knowledge they have in electronics into they phones. but they still cant make a MOBILE phone. i have got a d500 by the way. (not for long though) because the menu isnt half as good as 6230 or k700.

Specs look awesome.
The handsfree would be stereo too, I assume. Right?

thers only one thiing missing that would make this fone the best in the world....FM RAdio, but then again, with the huge memory...it doesnt really matter so i guess it is the best fone iv seen os far...but is it coming out....samsung always show new models and never bring them out!

Arguing about memory is futile, especially if Samsung want this model to compete with the SE W800 / K750 .... where is the radio capability?? Otherwise the 3GB HD is an excellent idea. Wonder how it will effect battery lifetime though ..... duh just bought D500E and samsung go an an issuing spree ...
