ppl ive had this phone for around 7 months now....and its been a good 7 months....nice phone fits well in hand, not the prettiest but its not ugly either....
Firsly its strong points... great solid software.... freezes once in two months or sth like that so i mean its stable compared to a few other s60v3s ive seen....great keypad...and the music player is great....its not too loud but with decent headphones it beats my ipod....and its got the sonic experience, u just need to hav the right headphones....great compatibility and customisation....almost all forms of connectivity....bearable display....the usual symbian features work like a charm,which includes meassaging, organiser, browser and everything else...
Performance is quite good....and im comparing with my n95 here....its definitely quicker with a 2 gb card....almost full that is....i wudnt comment on the scroll wheel as its view is quite opinionated....but not bad to hav....its speaker is betr than my friends n81 although stereo wud be nice.... and the front keypad is simpler than most n series phones...
The baad....no wifi , its the deal breaker.....gps needs to be external....and the worst thing abt it is its battery life....i previously had a w850 and it lasted a week on avg use....this phone goes 1 and a half days at less than avg use....i wud like to comment that i use loads of gprs....music and stuff but its unacceptable for a mutimedia centred phone....if i change it, itll be for its stupid battery life....and its camera is poor for the usual 2 megapixels...i know abt the megapixel myth but it just doesnt perform as well as other phones in the same genre....
Conclusion....neat set with loads of features falls short on battery life

Phone works great for the first month then starts freezing to a point where you have to pull the battery out to turn it off.
* Sound quality is quite low for a dedicated music phone. Alot of standard handsets like the slim line Nokia 6500 classic for eg are way louder (quite embarrassing).
* Hearing quality is low when on a call.
* Battery Life isnt to good
I personally would'nt recommed the phone only for the simple reason that im experiencing alot of problems with mine currently, might be an isolated case though. Perhaps ive got 1 from the "Poop" batch lol. But its given me enough grief to want to throw my Samsung I450 in the garbage and get me a Nokia.

It can't download certain games. It's sucks. Music sounds quite nice though.

Yesterday, i bought this mobile. Camera is not clear in low light photos, even though i switched on flash also. Where ever bright light is there, it is working in not bad condition. I had N73 music edition. now i feel n73 is better than this mobile in both music and camera. But music clarity, Slide design are good. Now i have disappointed in camera and music volume. And bigger draw back of this mobile, the single slot has been provided for battery charging, ear phone and data cable. so please check out once before buying.

Don't worry with the Battery life, even its last battery cell can give you 30 min of tlk time. For me its talk time comes out to be 4hrs n 12 minutes without speaker.

Comparing with the features and price to that of Nokia handsets I found I450 the best in the class, not only over Nokia but over Sony too. Stable S60 GUI, Clear photos (in full background light), Excellent slider, Superb loudspeaker quality, smart looks are some of the major positives of this phone. I have bought this phone 4months back n till now it has been working fine with no reboot given to it. Yes, I do accept that it may have some OS bugs but then they could be neglected as it’s a beginning for Samsung to provide S60 interface in its handsets. I would definitely recommend this phone to all.

it's not 40 MB and u can upload as many as songs possible.
i m using this phone from 2 months and till now i hadn't meet with any problems
so buy this one by closing ur eyes.
it's a great phone with nice features.
there are no games coming directly with the phone but u can download from net and install them. i had done that and it works greatly.

> In reply to Yasir @ 2008-11-29 20:27 from PIdNi totally agree wit u Yasir...its an amazing phone bought it 5 months ago & it's not giving me any problems....I am using a 2gb card & 80% loaded & still the performance of this phone is good...camera is just average but hey i like music..camera is just bonus for me...& when it comes to not so loud volume of the speakers..i kinda solved tat prob for my i450...the speaker is capable of doing a lot more than v expect ...i increase the volume of mp3 songs by using "total video converter" software {it has the feature of boasting the volume of the song at the same 128 kbps} & than transfer it to i450...than the sound is like wow man & wit clarity..it can even kick ass of the low graded loud noisy china phone speakers...i also transferred the same converted songs to my cuzns Nokia N81 which have stereo speakers tat phone started to make the sound bit distorted at at full volume & wasn't tat clear but i450 never do this..in short its the best & most coolest phone i have after Nokia 6233 & Samsung D500...:D

trent ur not using windows tat u can minimize an application....but u can run applications in background...remember ur using a phone wit s60 not windows....i hope it answers ur question...
