Owned Nokias, Sony Ericssons and a Samsung. Dumped the Samsung because of the interface... Gotta go through 5 steps just to delete an item. Doesn't matter what features there are if the interface itself is crap.

just to let you guys know, samsung did not invent the slide, Nokia did, back in like 2002, with the 8910 and the 7650, get your facts right

After reading the M-R review on this phone. i was surprised that this little thing even outperformed iPhone,N81 and N91 in music quality and performance. another thing was that it's screen even beats N95 in brightness and color reproduction although N95 has a gimmicky 16M color display lol. and built quality is excellent as always :)

About copying Dual slide from Nokia :)) That is sily.
Couple years ago Samsung made first slider! Isn't truth!? Oh yeah! :))
Nokia and Ericsson (other are down) has built to ugly mobile phones in compare to good and quality designed Samsung phones. Samsung teached Other Producers but if you compare N95 to sliders from Korea..Nokia failt this exam...this is only truth.
Nokia and Others has been copied Samsung's Idea...oh yeah!
SAMSUNG 4ever!!!

Heya you big Samsung fans out there ;) You seem to be ever so fasinated by this product, its features, its looks and so on... Yet there is already a WAY superior product out there and that has been blasted into smithereens by you, namely Nokia N81. I wonder.... Do have a closer look at Nokia's product and you will see that many features are just simply better on Nokia's phone than on Samsung's. Well there won't be any problems to lay your hands on Samsung's device, but Nokia's is selling like hot cakes! I wonder why....? :>

Crunchgear dot com got their hands on the i450 on October 15th and confirmed that the i450 has just one speaker. They specifically said it has a speaker and not speakers. They also added that the sound was decent. They did not say it was spectacular. Of course Bang and Olufsen is going to withhold putting in the best sound for this phone so they can attempt to justify charging $2000 for their Serenata.

Unwiredview dot com Website has a great shot of the i450 speaker. You can clearly see it is a single speaker and that it is much smaller than the Serenata speaker. The poster who said the speaker is like that of the Serenata couldn't be more wrong. Shame on you for misleading the people here.

The Serenata is indeed stereo speakers and it will cost US$2,000. The i450 will cost US$600 and will not have stereo speakers. It will be mono with a software boost that will make it appear like stereo, but it will not be as good as stereo. Now I don't recommend the Serenata either as for $2,000 you only get 4GB's of memory. Again, the i450 does not have stereo speakers. It is a single speaker with a software bass boost.

I presume it must be stereo, as they are the expert in their own field. Only hope that it is affordable. (More info can be learned from their web site).

Who said it was a Mono speaker? It is based on a similar design as the new Serenata which is actually a three speaker system, L+R + Bass.

Yes, but it is just a mono speaker and not a set of stereo speakers. So, what good is it? I'm sure the Bang and Olufsen mono speaker will sound good, but at US$600, don't you think we deserve stereo speakers? (Two speakers?)

A classical-designed phone, I do hope this one will really live up to the special branded sound system as stated, especially the build-in speaker. If so, this all-in-one device will be the one to carry and not the ipod.
