I have i450 firmware version : i450DBGL3 2007-12-17 , should i up grade it with the new one. Now it always restart untill 20 times a day. Especially after i play MP3. Dont know why ? I put 2GB micro sd and its only load 530MB of mp3 and no other file,only mp3 inside, the processor still fast,but after playing mp3 its always restart sometime 2 times restart after playing mp3 or after i use the bang & olufsen built in loudspeaker. Can u heelp me please ? Is it a virus or i should upgrade my firmware to samsung service centre ? What is the benefit & impact ? Thankss

i purchased this handset from kuwait & now using in india..here i experience a big problem using this set.it is getting hanged for most of the networks which i am using..& because it is a sliding one, one strip is there which connects to microphone will go bad easily....

After passing a lot time, I Found these below codes for excellent volume level on music player. Put these codes on "music_vol.txt"[C:/System/GAIN] similarly after erasing default codes.[I already explained all steps for volume level editing.] Here the codes:

Max time I use 6/10 nd I use Creative EP210. Also I have SE HP70 headphone[Earbud type] nd I use it with Samsung HP adapter.Then I hv 2 use 8/10.

All my frnds, Increase music player volume?? Just do this:
Hack ur i450 [Just install Drakkarious Hack 2.02(BETA) (remember to change the date to 15/05/2007 before installing). You can get it here..
After installing please follow this procedure:
1. -Run X-plore and press “0″, tick the 4 boxes (dont un-tick if ticked already)
2. -Without closing X-plore switch to the menu and run hellocarbide
3. -Inside hellocarbide press options and chose Menu1 and answer “yes”(probably 80 times!! but its worth it!).
4. -Now open x-plore(forget c:\hack.rar as it didnt for for my i450)
5. -Transfer the two files installserver.exe and CProfDriver_SISX.ldd from hack.zip on C: and move it to c:\sis\bin [Extract to..]
6. -Restart your phone.
7. -Install whatever you want on your phone, even if it is unsigned!! URL for apps http://www.megashare.com/529487

There are 4 text files which define volume levels. These are located in the directory C:/System/GAIN, and the interesting one is the file "music_vol.txt", which contains the values for the music player. Simply open the file in a text editor, manipulate the 10 numbers, save and restart the phone. Each number represents the volume for one of the 10 levels.
You need a file browser like X-plore to edit that txt file.After some experiments I chose the following values that I guess are optimal. With these, there are fewer low volume levels, and a finer gradation in the louder area. I also have raised the maximum volume cautiously.
