I think i450 is better for music listening because of DJ concept , and its speed in internet browsing , Ill get this one for my daughter .

for ur info, samsung do produce lens, u can check at their site for their digital cam n camcorder there are few model equipped with samsung lens even some high-end models.

Hi All
I always a great fans of Samsung and really happy to own Samsung i450 with all the features that a nokia had, of course sady i450 had no wifi, i just wonder why, perhaps is just the marketing power and buying power of the comsumer, in Singapore Mobile phone are rather cheap,i got it for S$ 668 in Sinagpore, comparing N81 8GB is S$ 838, the difference of s$ 230 just for the different of having a wifi is not worth to buy.
I have read the review comparing the Music / sound quality, for good sake, have anyone own a samsung MP3 player, please do doubts the samsung sounf engineering, i450 sound is amazing and OS what seamlessly too.
please note that samsung and nokia company do not produce camera lens product and technology, both of them are out, camera phone still the best goes to Sony ericson.
3.5mm jack is the imporvement and smart move for samsung to got it in the i450, and the OS symbian.
I also read that some reviewr comment on the LCD resolution, please note whether 256 or 16 mil colours it not the core thing that whether the display is brillant, is the LCD screen that count, and of course I do own a samsung LCD HD TV , and there it goes, (buy a nokia tv if you find one)...
I was once a lover for nokia till I try a samsung phone and my interest with samsung phone had grown. Nokia 81 8GB, so nice internal memory, please dont lost your phone or daage it before you back up, I do know how much it will cost for repair if that are fault with internal memory, i still prefer card, if damage i only lost 2 or 4 GB of data nd spend alittle money to buy a new cards, and my phone is still working and with me, not in a repair shop.
Guy think about it and let your heart chose the right phone for you, I still love my D900i samsung......

i have this phone..display is better than my friend's N81..it's more sharp, colorful & vibrant esp indoors..but nokia's display is a lil better under the sun..

I got mine! So, here goes my review:-
Nice Phone! Symbian looks awesome! Sound quality is adequately loud and clear when in music mode, OS works seamlessly although the classic Symbian hanging prob still exists. The slider is wobbly, maybe its only wid me, but the phone doesn't seem fixed properly with its back part. Sliding mechanism is OK, not too soft not too stiff. Camera is kinda annoying when you're taking the pic, as it blurs dramatically with the slightest movement, but the picture produced is clear although lacks detail. And i'm talkin' about it with the highest quality and 2MP resolution. But the color reproduction is excellent. Recommended as a music-oriented smartphone.Not Recommended for cameraphone-lovers!

Nokia N81 also supports SDHC along with all the latest NOKIAs.
i450 should support SDHC as wel im sure.

4gb is the max for normal phones.unless it supports SDHC.from 4gb onwards its SDHC.only motorola RIZR Z8 is able to use SDHC if im not wrong.

Please Samsung i450 owners answer some of my questions:
1.Can you talk with the slide closed?
2.What is the maximum storage card capacity this mobile can handle? Mobile-review.com said it can handle 4 GB ones, but can it handle 8 GB ones?
3.Does the camera have a panorama mode?

hold on a second dudes... be fair...
yes, nokia's a giant corp that only produces handphone, unlike sony and samsung, and it makes nokia owned the best in symbian, and they keep on improving.
sony and samsung which produce other electrical appliance can have their technology embedded into their phones, and that makes them unique in a different way.
must not forget about other manufacturers. they're same as these giant corps! they produce handphones as well! i personally agreed with some dudes, stop being biast. ask somebody out there, if, and only if, nokia, sony and samsung take a lead in this handphones manufacturing technology, how did motorola v3 being awarded the best phone of the year?! don't believe me?! go check on the net!

I agree with you. Everyone knows that Nokia is strictly a mobile device manufacturer, unlike conglomerate giants like Samsung and Sony, who manufacturer other electronic appliances and hardware.
The fact that Nokia stands out in the mobile phone competition is amazingly astonishing.

I agree with Jon2. The most advanced phones are from se japan,my brother works in japan and in 2006 he uses a 5 megapixel SE phone....SE K850 released a year after... :(
