And about Nokia...

I've been using Nokia 3310 for about 7 years (yes, 7 friggin years!!), dropped it more than 1000 times, and it's still working up to this day.

What do you say about that?

I said Korean labor is cheap "like" Chinese labor, not "cheaper". Get your facts straight and learn English. Sheesh!

I went to that Mobile-review forum you gave me. Guess what? Half of the people there was disagreeing about Samsung. One of them even said the salesman was like a robot. LOL!

Here's another fact: Korean technology will never be as good or better than Japanese technology. Have you ever been to Japan? LOL!

The phones they use are way more advanced. Sony Ericssons high-end phones in Japan have Bravia screen, active 5.1MP cam, 2MP secondary cam, all HSDPA-enabled. And most are SHOCK-RESISTANT, like a G-shock watch. Now they are trying to make Water-resistant phones.

Yes, Samsung phones break easily. I have a lot of friends whose phones are broken without any accident happening. One friend of mine broke his U700's screen. He didn't even accidentally fell the phone, and I was with him when that happened! LOL!

Korean and Chinese products are so fragile. And they are as cheap as they look, too.

WDF you are talking about how come Korean Labour is cheaper as Chinese labour.? Do you know anything about it.? so funny haha .! (which year are you live in now.? 50years ago?? funny hahaha) nowadays, Korean makers are making better than Japanese companies. few year ago Samsung nearly try to buy Sony Corp. as Sigle Samsung Elec. (generally Smasung has over 10 seperate dep. like Insurance, SDI , Construction etc.) shares is higher than whole Sony Corp. Shares. You are totally making non sence here . Only Jap. Technology is Top, that was long time ago.
breaking phones are depending on users .! WDF the phones constructions mostly are same uses plastic. (there are some exeption like 8800) . if you use the phone. it will make scratches etc.
if you can give me all da evidence about samsung phones are always breaking ..i will accept it.

go and have a look http://forum2.mobile-review.co...php?p=655990
there are also lots of people agree that samsung is better... all the people are not like you guys who only like Nokia phones. ! if you keep saying Nokia is Lot more better than ok you can think of it yourself.

Oh, almost forgot. N91 uses the same Toshiba DSP chip as N81, but has no EU 'volume restriction'. And Nokia's XpressMusic range uses a cheaper, smaller version of that chip too.

N81 uses DSP DAC chips from Toshiba, a Japanese company that makes their chips ONLY in Japan (so quality is outstanding) NOT from Samsung's cheap Korean chips. Plus I bet the plastic parts are cheap as well. Samsungs usually break after 1 year, unless your super-duper careful. You should eat your own words and shove them down your throat.

Of course i450 will be cheaper, labor in Korea is cheap like Chinese labor. The design of N81 is better than i450. N81 is more of a 'style' phone focused on games & music.

Oh, and for the record, you have no absolute control over this forum or any other forum. People have the right to express opinions AND facts. Just face it.

Thats cool man, ye ive got a contract with Vodacom as well but i upgrade in July, i can't wait until then so i decided to buy the N81 for Xmas, Voda didn't have it so i had to get it from Cell C. I don't understand why Voda are so slow yet they are the biggest network here yet they get phones 1-2months after Virgin and Cell C.

@ultra edition.. my comment on e51 was to show you samsung people.. that all nokia phones are not fat ... secondly... i have seen soo many samsung phones break!.. die!! pack up!! after a year for no good reason... im from south africa.. maybe we get bad units here.. but still.. my comments are justified.. and just for the record... the nokia e51 has better audio quality.. than the n95.. which you were comparing the 450 to...

Again i dont see what is your point here! to see total market share of course nokia has no.1 marketshare but i was pointing Nokia Market share does not increase a lot as before .! their market share still increasing but increase percentage been keep decreasing. ! that mean Nokia is keep losing customers.in whole ! please note there are also Sony Ericson and Motorola and HTC etc. companies there and Exc. Motorola most of companies Market shares been keep Increasing! and whats the point that E50 or E51 phone.? they work as business phone its simply they have S60 on it.! nothing else. S60 gives us better chance that we can install 3rd party programs on the phone.! exc. that D900 or U700 is much better in Style and everything. and for smart phone function i see UIQ is lots more better rhan S60... you know what.? Nokia is losing customers because of they used S60 too much on their phones..! thats was the market error from Nokia that they suppose to create S60 phones as Exclusive or as Business phone. but not anymore as they ve used S60 a lots.

Look im not saying Samsung is best..! i was trying to say every company has their own concept and project to making phones. but i was comment on your opinion as it seems you are just saying Nokia is better than Samsung.! as simply you can not compare directly with one phone to other. ! and make decision that which one is definently better.! thats wrong >! its just depending on customers choice. if they like i450 over N81 . i450 is better phone for them and if they like N81 over i450 . N81 is better phone for them.! so please do not make any non-sence opinion on samsung forum.! also if you realyly love nokia ! go over there and work with them.! thats all i can say to you.!

N76 is still being sold,it had build prob we know Nokia are working on it. Remember Samsung i400? Yes IT FAILED, Samsung had to CANCEL it because NOKIA had already released the 5700 and N95 which SOLD A LOT MORE! Dont front like SAMSUNG dont do mistakes when they actualy do. E51 is design and business GET OVER IT. Realy? People are moving to other Manufacturers? Why is it NOKIA is still at over 35% Market Share and rising? Yes NOKIA are at the top mainly due to the N95, N73 and 6300 just to name a few. So maybe in your store people are changing but the stock market shows that IN REALITY NOKIA are getting more customers.

I dont see what is your point! that you keep writing this kind is stupid things.! N76 is Market Faild phone due to high price and used wrong materials. and E50 and E51 are bad styling. they are just candy bar business phones with no style.! i dont see why you want compare those phones with..! Honestly i am user of N95 and i hate using it has it has really bad sliding machanism and battery life is real bad as need to charge everyday and its so big and no style just feel like brick. i feel like samsung is master of Sliding Machanism and style(later on i am going to change the phone to Samsung F700 which lot more easier and better to use than N95! i know it has lower specs than N95 but simply i dont like it!). and also i am a Mobile Retailer and i sold lots of phones and Nokia phone . people always complain because of Slow Symbian OS . and lots of people now moving from Nokia to other brands as they are not anymore stick with Nokia due to lots of other reason as well.

The Nokia N76 is thin and stylish, so is E50, E51i and the upcoming E71i. They are all lite, so quit making excuses. The N76, 6300, 8800 Series are fashion.

i said buy Nokia phones.! if you want buy Fatty bulky big phones with lots of features. ! i thing you dont understand. about concept of the mobile phone company.! every mobile phone company has their own concept to making phones. and Nokia concept being using S60 and S40 to make most of phone with price and feature range therfore they given up part of styling of phone and weight as well. However, Samsung trying to min. size of phones and make better style.! such as Ultra Edition phones. Like U700 and D900 was another best seller. with Good Features with style and slim factor.! thats what samsung doing.! Dont marking around at Samsung Forum! with stupid your Reason and Saying about Nokia.!
