hi all,will i buy the i550 last night withe praise of 127 kd,about 450 us dolar.
its realy nice device,easy to use like the using of any nokia devices,the only diffrent that it has a track ball rather than joystick,so you have to get used of it,u can control the sensvity of the ball.

and it has ((wi fi)) nice mobile

First of all, we have to know if the Rumour is true or not, so somebody with knowledge has to open his i550 and has to take a closer look.

If the rumour is true, than we will find a way to unlock the hardware, believe me, but first of all we have to find out, if the rumour is true!!

Where have you read these rumors about every i550 having WiFi hardware?

If every i550 was WiFi then the BIG question is, how do we flash normal i550 phones so they have WiFi!

I'm not sure if Samsung will have the same update system as Nokia with their Symbian phones. With my old Nokia E50 I can use Nokia Updater to flash it with the latest firmware.

It seems Samsung have an I550 and an I550W which might explain why in some countries the phone has WiFi.

Question is, why would the hardware be missing from the normal I550?

well i take a look of samsung show room at kuwait airport,and i take a look at the last pease of i550,i got amazed of the desgin of the phone.
1-it comes with wifi,i sow the mark of the wifi at the top right corner on the device it self,olso i sow the setup for lan in the setings.
2-it comes withe 1gb memory card,and it can handel up to 4gb of memory.
3-it have also a realplayr.
4-for the gps,when you install it it will give u acount for 15 days to try it then u have to buy it.
5-the main screen have gogle search bar
6-the main menu is the same as nokia,but withe more butey icons than nokia,and suberb back ground

I've just bought this mobile in UAE. IT'S EXCELLENT and it has wi-fi and gps.It so smart and easy to use .No doubt it has wi-fi .Its price is 460$

I want to know where is sold in egypt and does it include GPS IN EGYPT AND for HOW MUCH IS IT SOLD.I guess This phone rocks as it depends on other platform different than Nokia and we will get the symbian 9.2 cuatomized by samsung.different than we have got used to.Please Some feedback

i found this phone here in doha at virgin store and on the label ,besides the normal features it was written with a pen "3G + WI FI". this was added later by one of the salesmen i suppose.so in qatar the phone comes with WI FI .i presume this feature is available in all the GCC countries.can someone tell me how easy is it to use the GPS on this device?do i have to download maps or they are allready installed?thank you

yes it has WIFI and GPS, however the scrollable ball is not that good,,needs extra configuration for the sensitivity thing

There is no wifi bro.
But check this babe:
Samsung G810, this will kick n82/n95 a$$ since it has 5mpx cam with 3x optical zoom, and antishake.
And built in gps & wifi.
