If you are running out of space even after installing 8gb mem cards then SanDisk has introduced 16gb of massive storage mem cards
16gb is supported by any handset which supports microSDHC mem cards
i550 supports microSDHC

i bought this nice device and i was eager to test the gps function.
first no navigation software found and no memory card was in the box
when i go to menu tools gps data then i have a message to tell that no connection
i have enabled the built in gps but nothing is changed
only one time the data is displayed and it disappear and nothing new.
please help

Guys I have the latest firmware(i think so)
i550JPHH2(22-8-2008). I think these firmwares are region specific. The languages preinstalled are: english, french, arabic, persian, urdu.
When i updated my firmware thru service centre, i got this firmware. He told me that there will be a samsung site for firmware update soon, like nokia. It is currently in test phase.

1-Does this phone support automatic email retrieval(in imap4 acounts)? 2-In the phone specs I did nt see (html) in browser does that mean this phone cant view all kinds of net pages? 3-Does the phone have standby mode like nokia e-series on the home screen? 4-Does it have apps like nots,log and connection manager ? 5-Does it have regular internet telephony(am not talking about fring) thanx
