Please anyone help me out i have purchased Samsung SGH i550 : i cant answer the calls through the hands free when i am listening the songs i have to remove the hands free and talk then y is a mike provided in the hands free thats inserted in the Multi Finction Jack slot.please

I have been using the SGH I550 since last 6 months and am very happy with it....., though i have a problem. When my office Wireless Lan (3com router) internet connection was in unsecure mode , i could easily connect to the internet, view websites,Download, read e-mails etc ..., but since i changed the security mode to WPA/WP2 ...I am not able to connect at all. I have access point also... I have input the pre-shared key also but but it does not help. The asteriks which appear in the key box does not change.
Though when i access a unsecure network it is ok.
I restored to factory setting and tried again but it is the same problem....Please somebody advise me..Thankx

Then go to "network" settings
If u want both 3g and GSM then select "Dual Mode" or if u want only 3g then select UMTS or only edge or gprs then select GSM

I didn't find any direct mention of re-mapping the gps and media keys, so is it possible to change programs behind these buttons?

Why is the sound on my i550w doesn't match the n81? even though all sites say it has good quality but when i heard music on n81, sound on i550 was way too low on full volume. Is it just my phone or is it normal? If yes any ways to increase the volume?

How can we disable the message sound that sounds during "send communication message" (while checking balance eg: *666#)? cause it is irritating.

replaced the antenna off the motherboard
all the repair places i have been to tell me that it is a software problem but i am in canada and they do not have the software here yet...what country are you using the phone in?

Just purchased this phone last weekend, and with the help of SR, I have already flashed the phone with the latest firmware...

So far so good.. it's just too bad it does not support Chinese anymore in the new firmware

continuation on my 1st undefined comment type about the samsung i550 suddenly in offline mode and does not detect the simcard, the simcard works on my nokia phones

I was using my samsung i550 for voice call and when I end my call after 9 minutes it appears "offline" and it will no longer detect the simcard, I tried resetting but doesn't work, what is the problem and solution, please help.

|Problema e ca am incercat sa il activez si dupa ce se conecteaza la net imi zice: 'check serial number'.
Am pus serial number depe cutia telefonului.
Cum sa fac sa mearga GPSul? Cum pot sa ii upgradez softul?

Hello,
I bought a mobile phone Samsung i550 with CD wich contains all the maps in europe. Is great phone but I have problems with navigation software. I try to activate the program that was allready installed but after conecting to internet I recieve the message: 'check the serial number'. I introduced the serial number from the box of the phone.
Please tell how to solve this problem.
