well basically i have got my samsung galaxy 5 for about 3 years now i also encountered that the phone will basically do nithing without and memory card/sd card other than that the phone works extremelly well and is quit fast sending emails and surfing the web!!!

i personally have had nothing but trouble with this phone right from the get go i had trouble changing the keyboard settings from swip or handwriting to normal qwerty keyboard but i got there in the end however it recently reverted back and i could only get num pad in vertical small screen and qwerty full screen
then i changed telco and had trouble getting internet working, then wifi was pretty troublesome,

then it started ghost button pressing making it impossible to txt or do simple tasks at times

battery consumption sucked as it would often do things in my pocket and open some apps or change settings id often have to close apps using task manager

i was never able to get the google play app store to work. it kept telling me i needed to download the google play app in order for the store to work but it wouldnt let me download the app from the store?!?!?! vicious circle..

all of these things combined and probably some i cant think of right now inevitable led to this phones immediate death today when it frustrated me for the last time and was met with a sledge hammer.

maybe i got a dud but this is my experience with this phone
granted i used it for over 6 months and it wasnt always a hassle but all the fuctions that phones are capable of these days this one was basically useless to me
time for an upgrade for me..

When you disconnect the cable, the memory card is read from the phone. Applications stored in the memory card does not work when you connect the cable from the pc. Sorry for my bad English

I have a problem with my micro sd card. It doesn't work. When I put the cable in the cell phone, appears a message saying that it is "indisponível". When I get off the cable, appears the capacity of the memory's card. I really don't know what to do, because there's not the option of formate the micro card. Help me please. Thanks.
