Then after do these 2 simple steps :

1.)Download (from xda develpers.com or google .com) these 'Three files' and simply copy into your SD card.
libRS.so
librs_jni.so
LiveWallpapersPicker.apk


2.) Download 'terminal emulator' from the android market and write following code in it :
su
mount -o remount,rw,codepage=utf8,vfat,xattr,check=no /dev/stl5 /system
cat /sdcard/LiveWallpapersPicker.apk > /system/app/LiveWallpapersPicker.apk
cat /sdcard/libRS.so > /system/lib/libRS.so
cat /sdcard/librs_jni.so > /system/lib/librs_jni.so
reboot

NOTE : In the begining of typing of this coding in emulator it will ask for superuser permission just select 'allow' it.

it has Task manager , App2Sd function & many other improvements.
In other words, it is necessary to update to 2.2(Froyo)
to make better use of your galaxy 3.


For other people who likes to root their galaxy 3. Now, they can also Root their phone.
just type on google ( andoidadvices.com gallaxy 3 root) you will be able to find it.

Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) runs on this phone too, very well indeed too !

Pls help me im using samsung gt-I5800. My problem is I already change my microsd with 16gb but the "phone storage getting low" always appear... How can I move my files in my sd?help me pls.thanks

To use 2.3, you must use custom ROM´s, like Kyrillos 10.1 or CM7.2

diz cell phn is so much complicated.......
wat i d0o yr... help me plz....
n why diz phn have the thread system... folder view is not allow.... y...
why unknown numbsr are not blocked...
why blocked msg can't be seen....
n so so so many problems.....
