The i780 processor can be overclocked to 806Mhz though at 728Mhz the processor is quite stable and the battery back is pretty decent at those speeds.

Some ROM on the Samsung i780 D1 (English version) has a programming bug, which doesn't identify GPRS and works well the first time.
The Solution to your Problem is, follow these simple steps and you should be good to go using msn and live messenger:
Go to Settings >> Connection type >> GPRS Settings >> Manually enter the details by calling your mobile operator and (this party pay attention) when you manually enter data make sure that the connection type is INTERNET AND NOT VODAFONE GPRS or any other service provider BRAND NAME. Save the details and then restart your phone and start using the service.
Another issue could also be Microsoft has a bad habit of not supporting older versions of Live messenger on WM5 to 6.x version so, there not much you can do about it. The solution I have given you works in 99% of cases.

I recently had to master-reset my samsung i780 n now it says i must tap to alighn screen n i have tried but it has stuck there how do i do now pls help...
