Yeah right ..buy voice command..spend 40$ for something that does far more than voice dial.
And also the way you lookup no in phone book.?Well I got news for u ..all Win Mobile phones do the same.
If someone knows a voice dial app compatible with i780 please share the info.

Voice dial? Sure, get Microsoft Voice Command.

I don't even use voice dial even if I have the program. The problem isn't really the program, but rather the conditions that you will be facing when you'll be using voice dial, such as noisy environments.

With the i780, simply press on the keyboard and you'll see the system will start looking for names in your contact list. You can also use picture to dial some contact in the today screen.

I mostly use Voice Command for messages, alerts, or appointment announcements.

Finally, I've found a leather case and a screen protector for the i780.

The PDair leather sleeve case fits the i780 like it is an OEM case! I was really impressed when I had received the case. It's not just an universal sleeve case. All the buttons, keys, cameras, and etc... are accessible. My vote: 9.5 out of 10.

The EXIM screen protector is also flawless. It fits perfectly the screen 110%! And it has great visibility. I would say that it's one of the best screen protector out there, if not the best. My vote: 10 out of 10.

yup... :)
i think is the most interesting mobile phone ever.
ofcourse there are some disadvantages... like unlocking keypad. But now i don`t use it. i just click the main button and that is all..phone didn`t turn on/off itself any time.
the biggest disadvantage are two things :
- 320x320.. even age of empires don`t work :(

- even if i would like to play java games there are no funkcion keys ( navigation arrows) maybe some program could change this?
yup i know that if i tap the keyboard icon i can move by arrows but it will be better if i could use for example 2,4,6,8.

The good:
-very light
- nice shape/ pocketable
-very good battery life +it comes standard with an extra battery and a spare battery charger
-the keyboard
-opera browser
-converter
-camera

The bad:
-no voice dial
-the screen res prevents most 3rd party apps (which should be one of the strong points
of a Pocket PC)to run or run correctly
-the track pad(the famous mouse) DOESN'T RUN IN DIRECT SUN LIGHT
-the volume key can not be used/configure to scroll
-the led signals only incoming call(and a VERY FEW alerts)
-although when you want to unlock the screen it said "tap "unlock" or press "*"" the * won't work
-comes with only one stylus
-no mini USB
-I have a dual number sim and each time I change the no it loses all my call history
-when the battery reaches 10% the backlight dims;shortly after(can't say how much because the battery meter only shows from 10 to 10) the phone enters in flight mode and there is nothing I could do to reverse that.e

I've been using the i780 for two weeks.My previous device was a HTC TYTN ll so almost all the
remarks above are made in comparing to this device .

Hi,

I have being using the phone for nearly a month. It's the best phone i ever use. Previously using O2 Flame/ SonyEricsson k800/ O2 Xda2 etc..

Pls note, this phone is using 320x320 resolutions. If you want to have better graphics ie for GPS map. You can search this program RealVGA. refer to www.ppcsg.com for more information on this phone.

Battery wise, this phone is extreme good, I went oversea with full charge, had being using its excel for currency exchange. It last for me nearly 3 days without charging.

the graphic quality for GPS kinda lousy...i compare it with my dad's Asus P560...that has better quality...the response was very slow when u click on sumthing...*sigh* i should'hv bought that HP iPAQ 610c...they released it here in M'sia...the same day i bought this i780...

I intend to get one with its great features. I heard Samsung has not resolved the map for GPS. Which map is compatible? Are they also loading with Window Mobile 6.1? Price still steep dispite not many interested user as compared to HTC, ASUS. I NEED HELP

just got this phone 3 weeks ago. at first it hang a few times, now i unable to use wifi. i took it to the samsung service center today and they have my software. they told me that they receive 1st i780 that have problem in that center =.=
