Pros:
1)great battery life (second included)
2)hardware keyboard
3)slick & thin unit, not too much of a brick
4)nice alternate samsung today plug-in
5)all the connectivity options possible (incl. wi-fi)
6)integrated touchpad
7)stable unit (hardly any freezes)
8)extendable memory (up to 16gb)
9)loads of 3rd party applications available to make it into a useful but also nice looking device (spb mobile shell, facex contact, spb weather.......)

cons:

1)windows mobile with it's flaws (hardly a samsung flaw)
2)square screen (320X320) makes some aplications incompatible
3)poor camera (2megapix, no flash)
4)hard to use screen in direct sunlight

not a perfect device but very useful and reliable + also an eye catcher. If u want something less like office go for Omnia or Diamond, but if u want something for hardcore business use i think you won't be dissapointed. Regards!

Can the i780 route to a GPS position?
Simple question that nobody seems to be able to answer. Salespeople here are not allowed to open box, online manual not saying. Like buying a car but not allowed a test drive...
First prize if it can route to a GPS position embedded in a SMS.
Killer application, Garmin engine is inside but not allowed to do what it is designed to do?

Does anyone know how to change the time from showing in 24hour time? I want it to show in 12hour time. I've figure out how to do it in the today screen, but I dont know how to apply it to the top bar when im in other programs or to my calendar.

About the rest of the phone...I don't have problems with the screen.I find sensitive enough and the stylus pen is just what you need with a screen this size!
It has, of course, some problems, as it is a Samsung product and it is not perfect.But for its class is more than good.I's smart, quick, as a mobile phone it works without problems.You have everything that you need on it...and speeking of battery life: you have 2 batteries in standard and a charger for the 2nd battery in standard!with what other mobile phone you will receive that!?!?
Great quality for its class,great image, very stily!
If you ask my oppinion: go for it!

Maybe with RealVGA but at 96dpi you really need glasses to work with wm underneath. I'm satisfied with spb mobile as it is. Maybe you should try it. Regards!

I found this video at youtube. It shows i780 can be display just like HTC Diamond (jeez..cool!). Is it for real? Does anyone know what is the programe name & where I can download it? Thx
