Just got mine a week ago.
Any idea why the phone keeps auto connect to the internet via GPRS/EDGE/3G?
I have a blog on i780 squarery.blogspot.com
Thanks!

1) The gps is regular gps + a-gps. It can actually track satellites like normal navigation does
2) Yes, but the windows mobile makes it hard. I installed 3rd party apps and because of that i rarely use stylus. Otherwise, wm is not the friendliest touch os (maybe 7.0 will change that)
3) Didn't play games so can't help you there - don't have to use the mouse anyway..
4) no
5) that's what they say:)
Hope it helps - very satisfied with the phone - had Nokia before but got bored of their menus...
Best regards

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-07-18 08:17 from ibp3Good day. The today timeout is a window function that would let your
phone
revert the screen back to the today screen after a user adjustable time,
meaning
if you adjust this function for 4 hrs, if you're phone is idle for 4 hrs
, your
phone will return back to today screen no matter what menu is being
displayed.
Thank you.

I have a few questions to everyone who has used the i780 for more than a month, as I'm thinking on buying one (currently using i600):
1:Is the gps only a-gps or it can actually track satellites (such as sirf-III chips)
2:Is the touchscreen usable without stylus
3:How is the virtual D-pad compatable with 3-rd party apps (such as games and graphics software)
4:Have you installed realvga
5:Is the cpu actually 624mhz
