and also post #9: "I didn't run into this issue until I reflashed my ROM to one with W6.1"
no doubt it is a different phone, that is why i am asking the question specific to the firmware that i am using and whether you have any experience with the firmware and the battery.
it is a simple question.

That is it doesn't recognized the higher capacity and will shut down when the mugen battery hasn't been fully depleted (it thinks that the battery is of samsung original battery capacity).
have you tried mugen with this firmware version? does it has similar problems? thanks!

i have a samsung i780 which i bought with two(2) batteries. but for some times all batteries went off at the same time and upto now i have gone all the shops to find for one but all in vain,its almost two month, pliz help me how i can get one so as able to use,

My i780 has too many scratches on the screen due to which I cannot use the touchscreen that well. I would appreciate it if anybody in Malaysia, Tiwan or Singapore can let me know where its available so I can buy one for my phone.
Need it urgently, Appricate your help folks!! Cheers!!

With the Mugen Power battery the phone power last for 4days with one charge and heavy useage. With 3G video calling the phone battery lasts for a day!

New Facebook application for Samsung i780.
Try this application works fine on i780 though I must warn you they are few glitches.
Application: XDA Facebook App Version 3.0 Beta
It integrates into internal facebook application on your i780 works fine though you may face some issues in terms of a sudden shutdown of the application if on clicking on a few icons there's no response.
Note: This application was specifically designed for HTC QVGA screens perhaps that's one reason you may have to deal with the issue other wise the applications works better than the other facebook applications I have seen in recent times for wm6.1
